MCT ~ 3~D Wednesday

Do you know what day it is?? It's hump day and 3~D Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Today is when we make ANYTHING but a card! LOVE this day!

So for my project today, I have had these plain black bags since last year. I buy ton's of stuff on clearance, after season clearances, with hopes I will use them in the future. Let's just say that HUGE box is full and another one has started.. hoarder is what I am! LOL. So any way, I decided to wrap ribbon around the top of the bag to give it a little pizazz. Again, ribbon was on clearance too. Then I just went to town with some old and new My Creative Time stamps and dies. Just LOVE how Emma's products blend so perfectly together. I will list my products below the picture but I did want to say I did use the "Stitched Journal Die" , black part, even though you may not be able to tell. I LOVE this die so much it needs a vacation. LOL! But it comes in handy so many times for me.

I love stamping tissue paper and I thought the new background stamp from "Spooky Starry Night" was a cute look, since I will be filling this full of treats for Ryan's teachers little girls for Halloween.

MCT ~ Inspire Me Tuesday

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Today is "Inspire Me Tuesday" over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma  and the design team create a project using any inspiration piece. Our inspiration can come from anywhere. My inspiration came from my pantry and the last release! LOVED that release! My LOVE for olives green, black, stuffed with just about anything or my favorite one is in a martini glass! LOL!

Any hoo, I thought I would play with some older dies to see what I could do too use that AWESOME sentiment! Well low and behold if Miss Emma doesn't have the PERFECT circle dies. So I took the "Scallop & Stitched Circle", die cut that in green, then placed the circle from the "Build A Banner Kit" and die cut that circle out. Then just placed some red card stock behind the green and voila ~ OLIVES! What do you think?? Now for my toothpick holder I used the "Stitched 4x6 Journal Dies" , the little slash piece. I will link all my materials used below the picture.

My Creative Time ~ Designer Challenge

Hello crafty friends it time for another Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This challenge will be hosted by our very own Miss Cindy Beland! She is super talented and so sweet! She is asking us to create any type of project that is Birthday Themed!

Simple right! So I decided to create another masculine card for my birthday theme project. I think the card could be used for a man or woman but the paper colors tend to be more masculine ~ IMO. I LOVED this cute little camera die that Emma came out with along with the speech bubbles. I did mask the birthday part of my sentiment.  I have had this awesome patterned paper I thought would be perfect to use with for my card. I did add some wire to make my strap. The rest of my materials I will list below.

We hope you can join us in this challenge ~ it's always nice to have extra birthday cards/projects in our stash.

OOPS ~ UPDATE: I did NOT use wire for my handle! I forgot I use the wire par from the "Stitched Chunky Jar Dies" . The smaller handle! Sorry my brain seems to have gone missing!!!! PLEASE do NOT return it! TIA! LOL

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday

Hello crafty friends! Today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we can create any type of tag we want. Whether it be small, large, for a birthday, holiday or just any occasion you want!

I decided to make a large tag for my son's birthday. We celebrated it on Saturday with a wonderful family dinner at a restaurant of his choice and then on Sunday, he got to pick a special homemade meal of his choice.

So with all that said I made him a very simple tag with colors that seem to be his favorites. Not my favorite color choices and of course no printed paper, he is a rather plain little boy. But hey it was his birthday, so he got to choose! I LOVE Emma's "Stitched 4x6 Journal Die" . I think this die is seriously AMAZING! It can be used for so many wonderful things... like a tag! I used a few more of Emma's products to finish off the tag and it actually isn't that bad ~ again not my favorite colors! But boy his smile was from ear to ear when he saw it! So that is all that matters! I will list the rest of my materials below.

Good morning  today is "Thoughtful Thursday" over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is a day that we make any type of thoughtful card, gift or 3D project, that is  encouraging, thankful, congratulations, get well or any thoughtful theme.

I thought this was the PERFECT time to make my awesome, wonderful, thoughtful and amazing cousin a card. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This is not new to my family because I have yet another cousin, who is equally amazing, diagnosed 2 years ago. Both of them at the age of 43. These 2 AWESOME woman are so special to me ~ they were my best friends growing up. Thank goodness one is in remission & cancer free and the other one will be soon too! I LOVE you Tonya and Lisa!!!

So I wanted to keep this card pink, clean and to the point. Tried my best at CAS but not sure I truly achieved that??? Any way I just want to send some encouraging words her way just to let her know ~ I love her! They stamps I used say it all...

MCT ~ Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time, Emma and the design team will be catching up on our layouts, Smash books or Project Life! I have decided to try my hand at Project Life. I like the idea of just taking some photos and slipping them into some protective sleeves & just adding a little bit of detail. I want to mix and match my son's scrapbook and thought this might be a fun way to change things up! Plus the amount of photos I have of him, especially when he was a baby, I will NEVER be done if I don't try something different!

So with all that said I thought I would scrap his first day of 2nd grade! He picked his own clothes out the night before and was rather proud of himself! I tried to take as many pictures as my little man stood standing waiting for his bus ~ it was almost 40 something minutes late the first day! We actually thought we missed it at one point!

I used a lot of Emma's products for this page and will list them all below. I just love how her products work for so many different mediums! I did decide to use some extras I had laying around too! For example the Cricut apple and my cute little die cut arrow & heart! I am going to try and use scraps as much as possible since they seem to be growing in my craft room again! LOL!

MCT ~ 3~D Wednesday

Happy hump day! Whoo Hoo! Only 2 more days until Friday and I can't wait! So today is 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! I LOVE these days because we can make any type of 3~D project our little heart desires.

For today's project I decided to make my son a little treat box using Emma's, "Treat Slider Box". I love this this die because it can be used so many wonderful ways and for various occasions! Since my son's 8th birthday is coming up, I thought would make him something to slide into his lunch.  Just by chance you didn't know, Emma just had a release with the CUTEST balloons ever, so I couldn't resist using the new "Stitched Party Dies" too. Of course all her products are awesome! I decided to use a very unusual sentiment on his treat box from the stamp set "Here's Lookin' At You" but masked off the word "you". I thought it was a fun way to play on words. So I decided to use the cute little glasses from this set too. I will list all the materials below my picture.
