MCT ~ Do Over Thursday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team, its Do Over Thursday. This is when we make over a project we have done in the past. Now it doesn't me we didn't like our original project, its just something we want to make again but change it up a bit.
During the My Creative Time's 56th Release I made this card, click here for all the details.

I really loved how this project turned out and wanted to keep the same colors and thought process but change it up just a tad.
So I used Just A Note and the You Are Spot On stamp/die sets. I also used the same color inks, button and jute twine. My simple change was instead of using the Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies, I used a square from the Stitched Squares Inside & Out.
I did cut out the 3x3 Fancy Envelope in vellum this time around.
Simple and subtle changes but I sure do LOVE this color combo with Emma's products!
Materials Used:

Ink ~ PTI, VersaFine and VersaMark

MCT ~ Manly Monday

Good morning! I sure hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today is Manly Monday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we make "manly" cards.
For my project today I used the Greatest Handyman stamp/die set. This set screams manly and I simply adore this set. I colored my saw with Copic markers and I couldn't resist using this sentiment from this set! This sentiment is seriously to cute with the play of words right? My sentiment was stamped on one of the Sentiment Label Dies and of course I couldn't resist layering with a bigger label die. I cut part of my label die and had this spare piece so I just attached it to the top right corner. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More as well because I am truly obsessed with them!
I added a little jute twine and called it a day.
Super simple manly card but aren't men fairly simple people, with no fuss needed?
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, X-Press It and EP
Ink ~ MFT and VersaFine and VersaMark
Jute Twine
Copics
brad
clear embossing powder

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday

Good morning! Today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. Today it's all about tags!
I thought I would play a round with the new set, Berry Special. This set is seriously adorable and fun set to create projects with. Now I am no coloring expert but find them so fun to color.
Anytime a new release comes out, I try my best to incorporate Emma's newer and older sets, just to show how  they truly can go together. So I pulled out the Stitched Doily Die and the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies for the base of my tag. I die cut out another circle, by folding over a piece of scrap piece of paper and attached it to the back, so I can write a little note for the recipient. Added an eyelet, ribbon and hemp and called this tag done.
Super easy right??? If I could also add, I try my best not to put too much time into a tag because most of the time it gets tossed and I am ok with that. I guess what I am truly trying to say , is making something super fast and rather easy without all the fuss is okay! LOL

Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark and TH

Today we are featuring the new stamp set, Card Boarders, which happens to be our freebie for the month! It comes with four different designs and can add that special touch to any card!
I chose to use the heart border from this set for my card today. I couldn't resist using this cute little doggy and sentiment from the Christmas Doggy & More set. I stamped my border and sentiment on a rectangle from the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies. I then decided to use the Stitched Postage Frame Die for the shape of my card. Oh my felt button is from the Stitched Button Dies, this is another great set to accent any project!

MCT ~ What A Treat Wednesday

Good morning! It's What A Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Like I said before I LOVE doing this segment! So many wonderful projects you can make for so many occasions and reasons.
Today I am sharing a 3D project I made for my best friend's daughters graduation party. My best friend wanted to use blue, Kraft, burlap, twine and daisies for her party, keeping it subtle and soft with a twist of rustic by using mason jars and all sorts of jars. The navy is just one color from her school and gives the softer colors a little punch.
Anyway, trying not have this post super long, the "cards" sign I made will be put on a bird cage for guests to put their cards in. Now I didn't add holes yet or burlap because I have to actually be present to see where we will be hanging the sign for the bird cage. I used the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies for one of my rectangles and backed with bigger rectangles. I need it to be sturdy, so I did use chipboard. The letters are from the Uppercase Fun Dies and they are on the Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies. My daisies are from Hey There Little Lady stamp set.
Onto my little sign...
Now there will be 19 total of these cuties and they will be place in the mason jars/jars with flowers my girlfriend made with papers from books. I used the Stitched Squares Inside & Out, Number Fun Dies + Add Ons for this side of part of the center pieces.

I wanted to show you the back of the sign, since they need to be double-sided, since these will be part of the centerpieces on the tables. The "congrats" is from the Mini Greeting Dies set.

I hope to remember to take pictures of everything set up. My girlfriend, her daughter and family have been working hard on the decorations for weeks and I can't wait to see it all come together! I am off to start inking and assembling these...thank goodness I have tons of TV to catch up on!! Ha
