MCT ~ Inspiration Wednesday

Hello crafty friends, today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time! This is when Emma and design team create projects that were inspired by colors, a picture, someone else's creation or whatever. I really enjoy doing this challenge because I think inspiration is everywhere.

Today my project was totally inspired by my sweet friend Glora, from Glora's Crafts. She made this AWESOME and FUN card during the My Creative Time April release. You can see here card here, it is the second project she created, plus if you click on the "here" you will see how she created it. Not only did I think what she used to create her card BRILLIANT but it was PERFECT timing for me! My son went to a birthday party for the sweetest little boy and it was all about video games. Now I know you are thinking, Pac-Man is an older game.  I think he will get the jest of it once his parents explain to him that they played this game when they were young. I bet the parents get a better kick out of seeing it, at least I hope they do. But to be honest, my son played this game when he was little, only because we had it on a held hand thingy! LOL!!!! I did use googly eyes because time was not on my side. There is also a little sneak on my project that will becoming to My Creative Time , very soon! Wink, wink!
Thanks Glora for inspiring me, not only for this project but all of your projects!

MCT ~ April Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the My Creative Time April Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the amazing  Miss Cassandra's blog, if not you can start over at Emma's blog, My Creative Time or I will have a complete blog hop list below.

So lets get started...wasn't this week AMAZING! Day after day packed with BEAUTIFUL and INSPIRING projects! I thought so! How about Emma and her new release ~ I just LOVED this release! Okay so I said I won't keep you long this week, shy a day or so from my babbling so lets get this hop going.

Today I used the Pretty Spring Wreath stamp set! It has 3 BEAUTIFUL wreaths, some WONDERFUL sentiments and some PERFECT little images that you can build your own specialized wreath! The wreaths and images can be used for many different holidays, occasions and the best part is you can make your own! I chose to use two wreaths and simply stamp over one. Unfortunately you can't tell but the flowers have a BEAUTIFUL detail to them, my hand was a tad heavy when I stamped this & I re inked some of my stamp pads! Then adding glossy accents to it didn't help! But trust me the flowers and all the images have the sweetest details! I love how the sentiment Happy Mother's Day wraps around the wreath.. just a note... you can stamp this sentiment all around the wreath. I found this out after I made my card! UGH! My little flower in the corner is from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. Again endless possibilities!
Get ready for the picture heavy post but I don't want you to miss one thing!!!

MCT ~ April Sneak Peek Day #4

Today is the last day of the My Creative Time April Sneak Peeks but don't worry we will be back tomorrow with the blog hop! You certainly don't want to miss that either. It will be jammed packed with even more AMAZING creations!

So today I actually have 2 cards for you! I will be showcasing both new sets, And Then Some (includes coordinating die) and Springtime In Paris ( includes coordinating die). I just can't say it enough how I am in awe of this release! There are endless possibilities with these set too!!! Miss Emma just ROCKS.

For my first card I used the Springtime In Paris stamp set. I wanted to go a little vintage, romantic and elegant.  Paris seems (I have never been there)  to be so romantic, beautiful and such an elegant place. I wanted to my card to say that the best way I could. I LOVE the Eiffel Tower die and stamp, they line up PERFECTLY to make your die cutting super easy! YAY!!! My little leaf stems and leaves to my roses  are from the new die set, Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leave Dies. I think they make a great accent to any creation, besides what they are intended for.

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and Vellum
Ink ~ TH and Archival

Okay for my next card I wanted to go completely corky! I used the stamp set And Then Some. I LOVE,LOVE and did I say LOVE this "&" sign! I have wanted this forever and a day!!! So I made this card for my husband. We are the same at times and "then" sometimes so different! LOL! He is in boots almost all of the time, whether they be work boots, cowboy boots, hiking boots and yes even rubber boots. Working with concrete and feeding cows and me in high hills, sometimes, but most of the time they don't go with my pj's or sweats. Now if this was my sister, she is in high hills ALL the time! But mainly I wanted to make a fun card for him and play with words! I can so see this "&" sign for layouts and PL! Can't wait to use this more! Plus the bonus is the stamps that coordinate with this set match PERFECTLY with the die! YAY again!!!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and J's
Ink ~ Archival

MCT ~ April Sneak Peak Day #3

Welcome to Day # 3 of the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! I hope you everyone is LOVING the sneaks so far, I know I am! Well today may just knock your socks off! Emma blew my mind when I saw these 2 sets and instantly fell in love! Today we will be showcasing the Stitched Pretty Flower & Leaves Dies and Wishing You Were Here ( includes coordinating dies).

For my card today I used the Wishing You Were Here set. I LOVE this set ( okay I say this all the time but honestly I do) because it has the prettiest font, sentiments and oh my the dies! So I wanted to create a little scene because I wanted to use the patio stamp. For my sentiment, I did mask 2 stamps together from this set. LOVE how Emma's stamps allow you to do that very easily. Oh my I LOVE how this set just blends PERFECTLY together! I wanted to make my bench look a little weathered so I heat embossed the bench part.  Not sure I achieved that but I have to say I LOVE how this card turned out. Now for my flowers I used the dies from the Way To Go ( part of this release) and some other dies from previous release that will be listed below.

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, Vellum and K & Company
Ink ~ Archival, Stampin Up and Versa Mark
Clear Embossing powder

MCT ~ April Sneak Peek Day #2

Welcome to Day #2 of the My Creative Time April Sneak Peeks! Didn't yesterday just totally blow your mind with all that creativity! I know it did mine! Well today isn't any different than yesterday, so get ready to be AMAZED by this release and the design team! I must say I ADORE these two sets too! Okay when don't I LOVE Emma's stamps and dies!

Today we will be showcasing the stamps set Main Street and Way to Go. Both of these sets are FABULOUS! Plus the Way To Go set, comes with a bike die with tons of  dies! Oh just wait...

So to make a long story short, my son needs a new bike. He has outgrown his bike for some time. It's actually a Diego bike and he is know 8! Yes ~ he needs a new one.! So I thought it would be awesome to make him a big tag to put in his Easter basket.  So what PERFECT timing that Emma has come out with a bike die! Then I used the road from the stamp set Main Street to make a little path! The sentiments are so fun, hence the "Don't Crash" sentiment , I chuckled at that one!

Did you see a sneak for next month again???

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, Vellum and Shiny Paper from J's

MCT ~ Designer Challenge

Hello! Today starts a new challenge over at My Creative Time! This time the challenge is hosted by the very talented and creative Teri. She has asked the design team to create a scrapbook layout in any size and format of your choice, using a variety of pockets and envelopes.  Easy right!

So I have been wanting to scrap these pictures since last year. My brother in law and future sister in law took my son for the day. They called it Ryan Day! It was all about him. What 8 year all doesn't want a day ALL about him! They went to a local family fun center and did all kind of these. Thank goodness my future SIL knows me, she brought back the score card and pencil! I thought the Stitched Bracket Die made a great little pocket, plus it fit the score card PERFECTLY. Then the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die fit a journal card. I put both of these at the top of the page so they can be easily pulled out to look at. I must admit, I cut my paper a little too short and thought how am I going to fix this! So I just took a strip of black paper and white embossed sentiments that I thought fit perfectly for this special day and added a few little hearts to fill in the spaces. LOVE how this looks and I might use it more often in the future.

Materials Used:

Paper ~ PTI and DCWV
Ink ~ Archival & Versa Mark
white and clear embossing powder
homemade enamel dots

We hope you can join us in this fun challenge! Its a GREAT way to start or get caught up on your scrapbook! Click here for all the details.

Don't forget starting Monday April 21st the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks start! I am soooooo excited!

Have a great weekend and see you Monday!

MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Today is Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time, with Emma and the design team. This is when we get to create any project- card, scrapbook page, or anything, using scraps/leftovers or recycled items. I LOVE when we do this because it challenges us to use those scraps! I have a ton of them!
Besides my card base and the black piece of paper is from scraps. My star embossed piece of paper, forgot to take pictures, I must have stamped a flower background stamp on it. Then the yellow and white pieces of paper are scraps too! Again forgot to get picture. This card was very simple to make, as you can see! LOL

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ May Arts Ribbon
Ink ~ Archival & Versa Mark
clear Embossing powder
Embossing folder
sequins

Head on over to My Creative Time to see the design teams projects!

NOTE: Please keep Franklin Regional School District in your thoughts and prayers. It is a neighboring school district that I have family members and many friends that have children that attend there... Thank You!

MCT ~ Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know my family did! We celebrated my mom and her twin sisters 70th birthday! Memories that I will cherish forever.

So lets get right to it today! Today is Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time.
This is when Emma and the design team tries to catch up on our scrapbooks. I decided today I would do a PL page for my sons upcoming baseball season. We have only had one practice so far. April is bringing us lots of rain, but that is okay its better than snow!
I tried to make a baseball field or what I thought it looked like. Well this caused such an up roar in my house ( not really an up roar) but boy my men were trying to tell me how to make it. What they didn't seem to get it was I had to fit my baseball field on the 4x4 Journal Die + More.  I did my best and also told them to make their own version! LOL!  For my infield, I think that is what its called, the negative part of the Stitched "Capture" Frame with Arrow Die. I pretty much based everything around that. Made my own little bases and a Spellbinders circle for the outfield and pieced everything together. For the words baseball and season, I used the Lowercase Fun Dies. I cut them out in white card stock and foam. I wanted them to have dimension. I used the baseball image from Grand Slam stamp set and just stamped it on the letters. I actually LOVE how this turned out. I will list all the materials used under each card to make it simple.

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & paper from my stash
Ink ~ Archival
Wink of Stella Pen
Foam

Materials Used:

Now for this card I lifted this idea from my boss lady Emma! I couldn't find the post but she used the Spring Chicken Backgrounds for a chain link fence one time! Well I just LOVED that idea!!!! Thanks Emma!

MCT ~ Try Me Tuesday

Good morning! Happy April ~ lets hope Mother Nature decides to come around for ALL of us and bring beautiful weather!!!

Today is Tyr Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This week we will be making a card using masking in some way. There are different ways to mask things. I chose to take the simple route, believe it or not I have never tried this! I used regular old masking tape, some Stampin up ink pads and cardstock! Simple right. Well I LOVED making this card! So simple but fun! I might be doing this more often! Of course I added a ribbon/bow ( when don't I??) but only used one My Creative Time product! How in the world did this happen?? I do LOVE the simplicity of this card!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Inks ~ Stampin Up and Archival
May Arts ribbon

Super short post and material list! LOL! Alright head on over to My Creative Time and see what Emma and the design team has created for you all!

Have a WONDERFUL day!
