Isn't  this so AWESOME! A sale, a mini release and a free stamp!!!! Oh HAPPY Black Friday from Miss Emma! I really don't want to keep you long so I will keep this VERY short! My project today was inspired my one a sweet friend and design team sister ~ Miss Cassandra. She made this CUTE and AWESOME little holder, click here. I knew I wanted to make one for my sons PL/Scrap book! I have decided to intermix both forms in his scrap book.  I figure I would use this pocket for all the stubs, receipts or what ever from all the fun activities we do in the month of December or stuff extra pictures in there... only time will tell. With all that said I figure I would get a jump on some cards, with this release it was VERY easy to achieve. I can easily add pictures  and journaling to them as well.

I LOVE this new release! All the stamps are simply INCREDIBLE to create with! Okay I promised NOT to keep you long.. Your next stop should be from the very talented Miss Liz!

For my project today I must confess. I have waiting for Emma to make the "Classy Girl & Furbaby Dies"  FOREVER! When she first came out with the stamp set "Keepin' It Classy" , I have wanted a die of that girl. The day has arrived! WHOO HOO!! I LOVE her and Emma! Thank You! Then if that wasn't enough she has accessories, "Classy Girl Accessories"  too (sold separately)! OMG ~ it's like playing with paper dolls again!!! Well with all that said, I was also the one who has been begging for a martini glass...sorry Emma for all the begging! LOL! So I just couldn't resist have the girl holding here big ole martini glass! Eek! I made this card for my best friend and giggled the whole time! Can't wait to give it to her! The "Fun Stitched Edges" was how I created the fun edge at the bottom of my card, a perfect way to add a sentiment!

My first picture didn't show Emma's awesome signature stitching that great but I still like the picture!

So I took another picture in the direct sunlight just to show you how defined her stitching is! Don't you just LOVE the stitching!

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #2

Welcome to Day #2 of the November My Creative Time Sneak Peeks.  Wasn't yesterday packed with fun ideas! I thought so! Well if you know anything about Emma and her products they are simply wonderful. They usually have her signature stitching on them and always blend well together with her older products. I just LOVE that!

Today I will be sneak peeking the "Fun Stitched Edges" die and the "Fun Variety on the Inside & Out" stamp set. The stamp set has 24 amazing sentiments and there is a total of 6 AWESOME edges! Oh I can see so many wonderful and fun things we can do with these! I chose to use the notebook one. I figured since my son got straight A's" on his report card I would tell him "You are my superstar"! He really works hard! I took the "Stitched 3x4 Journal Die" and my note book edger to create fun little report cards with those dies! Fun right? I used the new "Stitched Circle Tab Die" and the new "Circle Tab Sentiments" to make a clip. I just added a ton of glossy accents to give it some dimension. For my balloons, I used one of the new stamps to get that image. Just so you know these stamps don't fill out whole balloon but with a little extra stamping you can easily fill the balloons out. Love how they turned out!

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #1

Good morning! Welcome to Day #1 of My Creative Time November Release. Are you ready for a fun release? Emma has some really fun, fabulous products that I am over the moon about! Oh I cant wait until you all see this release!!!

Today I will be sneak peeking the new "Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die" . This die is the smallest of her bow collection. I have to say I fell in LOVE with this size too! I can see this working for so many different cuts out there and projects. I wanted to show you the size of this by using an array of My Creative Time products.

So for my project today I was inspired by the Christmas movie, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. There was this cute chubby snowman that narrates the story. I think his name was Sam and Burt Ives was the voice behind him. Since I was little, I just thought he was the cutest snowman. Now go Google what I am talking about! LOL!

I thought the new "Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die" was the perfect touch and got my sons approval. He said his favorite part was the bow tie! LOL!!! Anyway I wanted to try my best to recreate him. If you do Google him, you will notice he is holding a folded umbrella. Everything I used to create him, brows, eyes, mouth... everything except the base of his body( I used a punch) is My Creative Time. I will list the products below with what I used to make him.

Materials Used:
Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die ~ the bow (obviously)
Here's Lookin At You ~ hat, arms and brows
Scallop Stitched Envelope Die ~ eyes ~ then centers of the circle
Build A Banner ~ nose and mouth

Paper ~ PTI, Authentique, EP and vellum

MCT ~ Designers Challenge

Good morning! I hope you all are enjoying your week! I am so happy today is Thursday for many reasons! One being tomorrow is Friday ~ yeah and the other is that there is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time. This time it is hosted by our very own talented and creative Miss Katie! She has asked all of us to create Winter Holiday Tags! I love this time of year but always feel so rushed to get things done. So starting some of my Holiday tags now really helps me out! Click here for all the details.

So I found this deer image one a Cricut cartridge! Yes ~ I know that poor machine has so much dust on it! But like I say all the time I am a die girl here! I found this particular cut off the "Going Places" cartridge! Yes, I typed that correctly! I found it a few years back and really fell in LOVE with it! I thought I would use the same tag, the same cut but show you how totally different they could look.

We hope you all join us in this challenge! Let's get ready for the Holiday season together!

For my first tag I wanted to go more rustic/vintage?? Not sure of the word I really want to use! But I wanted to make my deer out of pattern paper! My scallop tag is from Emma's "Tag Dies" . These tags come in handy for so many things. I decided to use the "Script Type Background" stamps to add just a subtle detail to my paper! I LOVE the script on this stamp ~ I use it as often as I can. I heat embossed my sentiment. I LOVE the feel and look of heat embossing my sentiments. Just to add a little more to my sentiment I decided to use one of the many awesome images from the new stamp set "Build A Post Card" . That stamp set has endless possibilities! I like that this tag is designed sideways ~ sometimes on packages/gifts they look better facing this direction.

Materials Used:
Going Places Cartridge
Paper ~ PTI and MME (Traveler)
Ink ~ PTI, Vera Mark and Tim Holtz
Ribbon (??) and hemp PTI
Clear Embossing powder
Brad and jingle bells from my stash

For this tag I used the same scallop tag & again same Cricut cut for the deer. I just made it face the opposite direction and made this a little traditional! I used UTEE, chalk ink, chunky glitter and glossy accents to form my snow. I love how this feels and no glitter falls off either!

Materials Used:
Going Places Cricut Cartridge
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ PTI
Ink ~ Hampton Chalk Ink, Vera Mark  and Tim Holtz
Hemp
chunky glitter
clear button

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and we really hope you can join us in the new Designers Challenge!

Also don't forget that Emma is having a Design Team call. Click here for all the details. This truly is a fun, talented and wonderful group/team/family to be a part of!

MCT ~ Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning and Happy Veterans Day! To ALL the service men and women out there ~ a HUGE Thank you to you and your families for all the sacrifices that you all made and continue to make for all of us in this country!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we try to get caught up on our layouts, smashing or PL what ever form of scrapbooking. I LOVE this day because this seems to be the only time I ever do a page. So thank you Emma for having us do this ~ I know I say it all the time but I truly mean it.

Today I decided to scrap my son's 8th birthday. He has opted not to have a party with his friends and would rather do a family dinner. Not every one is always able to make it but we wish everyone can someday. In our house you get to pick anywhere you want to eat then come back home for cake! He chose this awesome Italian restaurant about 40 minutes away but so worth the trip! SO here are some photos that were taken at the restaurant and some at home! I used tons of My Creative Time products, which are so PERFECT for scrapbooking ~ any form. You may notice that there is something on my page familiar, it was a treat container I made for him awhile back, Click here to see all the details. I have decided to start using some of the tags, cards or whatever I have made him and throw them in his scrapbook! I have been wanting to do this for some time and  I finally did it! I think its a perfect way to preserve some cherished things.

Sorry for the bad picture but the sun is on vacation here! UGH!
