MCT ~ Inspire Me Wednesday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team it's Inspire Me Wednesday!
I was inspired by a very CAS card I saw on Pinterest, unfortunately after clicking many links it never took me back to the original post...rrrrr!
What I loved about the card is it was CAS with a little flair, if that even makes sense! I pretty much used the same design but use all MCT products!
Since this card is rather basic and rather simple I won't bore you into details but will list all products used below.
Sorry for the picture but for some reason my camera was not cooperating with me!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and EchoPark
vellum
Ribbon ~ PTI
Twine ~ Su
Button ~ PTI

MCT ~ 71st Edition Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the 71th Edition Release Blog Hop over at My Creative Time with Emma and the deign team.
You should have arrived from the super talented Katie's blog, if not you can start over at Emma's or I will have a complete blog hop line up listed below.
Today I am featuring the sets Cute Santa Hat Tag Die, Cute Stocking Tag Die, Cute Gift Tag Die and the Mini Christmas Greetings stamp set. I thought today I would share with you all  how to make tags for those extra specials gifts for the Christmas season. I do believe you "don't" have to go over board on tags because they really get thrown out. But today is my more fancy day tags! I used felt and boa for these tags. I think they spruce them up a bit. For my gift tag, I simply cut out the felt and used the More Stitched Circles for a polka dot affect! The sentiments were stamped on the die sets, Fun Stitched Tag Dies and Ribbon End Dies.
Super fun and easy to make!

We are showcasing these adorable new sets called, Pocketful of Holidays and Pocketful of Holiday Sentiments. They are packed with sweet sentiments and images/dies!
I decided to share the witch feet from this set but I can tell you they can also be elves feet! Yep ~ its a two for one deal with this image! I simple colored the image, die cut the pocket and heat embossed the sentiment! I did use rectangular dies but if you look at the purple rectangle, I used these sweet little dots that come with the Pocketful of Holidays to create my own pattern paper.
These two new sets are so fun to create with!

Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaMark and VersaFine

MCT ~ Thoughtful Thursday

Hello! I am back again this week! I hope your week is going great! I can't wait for the weekend! By Thursday ~I am beyond done!
Anyway, today is Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when us designers create a thoughtful project! Well, I might have missed the boat on this one! I made a wedding card for a sweet friend of mine who is attending a wedding this coming weekend! It's thoughtful right?? LOL!
I asked her what colors she needed and wine/plum and metallic is what she requested. I wanted to keep this as CAS as possible.
I adore the wedding cake from the Wishing You Both the Best set, which I popped up by cutting out again with kid foam. To keep this card CAS, I tried to shade the cake and flowers with some gray and some hints of wine/plum with the flowers and beading on the cake. I did use the Wink of Stella pen, I never get to show up in my pictures and to be honest I could barely tell I used it in person. I might have to investigate on why this is happening. Anyway I reached for one of my favorite die sets, MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies, I love to use these dies. It totally gives any project dimension! I have to say I do LOVE the shiny paper I used that looks like a mirror, it does scratch easy and is almost impossible to get a great picture (hence why I have two pictures today) but the look in person is awesome!
Super simple card!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & Mirror paper
Ink ~ VersaMark
Ribbon ~ M's
embossing powder
Wink of Stella pen

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team, it's all about tags!
I thought I would turn this coffin from the Spooky Time stamp & die set into a tag! I used the More Stitched Edges dies to create a spooky background. Then I stamped the wicked looking tree from the Spooky Time set, I tried to make it foggy looking by using Archival ink. My sentiment is from the Spooky and Creepy Night stamp & die set, which I heat embossed. The fun little bats are from Wicked Fun Dies, love how tiny these are. Added a eyelet, ribbon, hemp and a button.
Simple but fun!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and Vellum
ink ~ PTI, Archival and VersaMark
Ribbon ~ SU
hemp. button ~ stash
clear embossing powder

MCT ~ Cook-N-Craft

Good morning! I hope you all are having a wonderful Labor Day! My heart goes out to all affected by Hurricane Harvey... Texas Strong! All my family, thankfully are all safe and weathered the storm better than most...Thank GOD!
Today is Cook-N-Craft over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we share a recipes. I am sharing a super meal/snack that you can have ready and waiting.
First my project...
I made this card for our new neighbors who welcomed a little boy just a month ago... he is the sweetest little thing! I wanted to keep it super simple. I will list all materials used under the picture since this card is pretty self explanatory.
Materials Used:
Thanks For The Lift (smaller stars)
Paper ~ PTI and MFT
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark
Copic markers

Now for my recipe for Cook-N-Craft...
I make this for my son on baseball practice nights because I can have it ready in a heart beat once all the prep is done! Plus its all done on the grill, super easy right???
I grill my chicken first, with just salt and pepper, you can add whatever spices your family likes though. Cut up whatever your family loves. mine love green onions. olives and some tomatoes. Drained and rinsed canned beans and corn, which you could do fresh but since I was being lazy I used canned! LOL! The pictures will show my steps instead of boring you with a lengthy post!!!
Ingredients
Slightly warm tortillas
Add whatever you and your family likes to half of the tortilla
Fold in half. Flip over a few minutes. I start off with a low temperature  to make sure everything cooks and melts.
Cut them into triangles or leave the whole...again whatever you want!
Final product, ready to serve with sour cream, guacamole and Red Hot sauce for my family!
Yummy!

Make sure you head on over to Emma's blog to see what the other designers have created for you all!
Have a great day!

Good morning! I hope you all are in for a fun filled 48 Flash Sale/ Blog Hop over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Emma has put this amazing new kit together and let me tell you all, I am in LOVE with it! OMG! This skeleton,   the sentiments and the stencil are beyond fun to work with!
You should have arrived from the super talented Katie's blog, if not head on over to Emma's and start from the beginning or I will  have a complete blog hop list below this post!
The first thing I did was stamped this awesome skeleton, then die cut him out. I then die cut out another skeleton shape, adhered the stamped one on top, obviously! LOL! I did this to make it a tad more sturdy for my next step because if you don't it will curl up.  I then used the Ranger Distress Crackle Paint - clear rock candy and applied it on my stamped skeleton image. Do this first because it takes awhile to dry! Yes, you can use your heat gun to make this go faster but I like how it looks the natural drying process. How do I know this? Because I am that impatient crafter and did one using the heat gun! Not horrible results though!
Next I used the fun stencil to create my background, inked up my edges, then die cut it out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More. I then die cut the coffin from the Spooky Time set ( THIS SET IS NOT PART OF THE KIT) to have my skeleton wrap himself around something totally fun! My sentiment is stamped on one of the Stitched Zig Zag Dies. Added a button and some hemp and called it done!

Your next stop is from the super talented Liz!
