MCT What Inpires Me Wednesday

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I know we did here at the Harris house! Happy and sad to see it go by so quick! Sorry I haven't been around much but I have been prepping for the holiday and spending time with the ones I love the most!
Today it's What Inspires Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and he design team! This will be our last Wednesday post until the new year!
Today I was inspired by this wonderfully talented woman I found on Pinterest, her name is Krystie Lee. I fell in love with her style, clean and simple ~ something I am striving to try more often in the New Year. I was inspired by this card, click here.
I used the adorable little Mini Stitched Envelope Die and the hearts from Carved Heart. They were perfect for this little envie die. My sentiment is from Seasonal Greetings and I couldn't resist using my new obsession, Stitched Postage Frame Dies, these really are a must have set!
Simple and clean, Thank you Krystie for inspiring me today!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaMark and VersaFine

MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Good morning! I hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend! We did in our household! The tree and decorations are up, did some things outside, since it was gorgeous here and just had a fun time being together!
Today is What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we create any kind of treat! I kept my project super simple and will be stocking stuffers for my son. I used pencil bags to stuff some yummy Sixlets in and stapled the top, so they wouldn't fall out. Since these won't last long, I wanted to keep my tag pretty simple.  The perfect set for keep tags simple but yet fun is the Holiday Tags set. It's packed with various tags and sentiments. Now the sentiment and dies I used for the center of my tags are from All Around Holidays Fall & Winter set I thought keeping everything really simple and coordinated could make these treats super easy to mass produce maybe for my son's Holiday party at school.

Materials Used:

Paper ~ PTI and stash
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark

"We are SUPER EXCITED to bring back another 5 days of Christmas! We will have daily AWESOME prizes so you might want to tune in each day so you won't miss a thing! All you have to do is leave your comments on each stop for an opportunity to WIN!"
Today is the final day of the My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas with Emma and the design team! I know I have walked away with so many wonderful, creative, fun and easy ideas that will totally help me out as the holiday season approaches! Because as of today, I have not bought one gift...Insert panic... besides this gift!
Any way I saw this idea on FB and I did not save the link, so I apologize for whomever came up this idea, I love to give credit any time possible.
So the whole idea is to stuff an oven mitt with baking utensils and such, wrap a bow around it and viola! Isn't it the cutest idea! Well then add in the new set, Stitched Apron Dies and it even comes to life even more! Plus Target had these cute little Christmas themed spatulas and whisk. I know you can go to the Dollar store and pay way less and get the same effect. A simple affordable gift for the bakers/cooks on your Christmas list!

Paper ~ PTI & EP
Ribbon ~ SU
Ink ~ VersaMark and SU

I hope you enjoyed my simple projects this week... THANK YOU for always being so sweet and kind!

Good morning! I was blown away by yesterdays fun creations! EEK!
Today I have another super fun idea for you all! My friend Ruthie, sent me these adorable little cups a looooong time ago! They are so fun and easy to decorate! I thought I would make a few of these and have them on hand filled with chocolates for possible holiday guests, mailman, and any delivery service person who brings me all my on-line shopping stuff! HA! I have to say my favorite is our UPS guy...he is never scared of our driveway. We sit about 250 feet off the road and he just plows up here no matter how much snow we have! I seriously heart him and he never takes any gift I have tried to give him! Trust me I have tried... he just tells me ~ it's his job! Love him even more.. . someone with work ethic, integrity and just plain dedicated! But I will keep trying!

MCT ~ 5 Days of Christmas Day 3

"We are SUPER EXCITED to bring back another 5 days of Christmas! We will have daily AWESOME prizes so you might want to tune in each day so you won't miss a thing! All you have to do is leave your comments on each stop for an opportunity to WIN!"
Good morning! I hope you all have been enjoying all the creations Emma and the design team have created so far this week!
My project today was inspired by a gift bag I received a few years ago. I thought why couldn't I recreate it by using all these amazing My Creative Time products I have! I picked various stamps and simply made my own background stamp. What I loved about this bag was that it had a border at the top. So I partially die cut the bag die out from the Chalkboard Birthday set and attached it at the top. Isn't my little handle adorable?? I bought this trim from Hobby Lobby! I did some modifications to it but I think it looks so good with my bag!
As always I will list all materials used below!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and DCWV
Ink ~ Archival
Button ~ PTI
2015 Christmas Party Trim ~ Hobby Lobby

"We are SUPER EXCITED to bring back another 5 days of Christmas! We will have daily AWESOME prizes so you might want to tune in each day so you won't miss a thing! All you have to do is leave your comments on each stop for an opportunity to WIN!"
For my project today my sweet and talented friend Ruthie gave me this fun idea! I told her I made a trip to Hobby Lobby, it's about forty-five minutes away from with no traffic, and found these chocolate covered Christmas sunflower seeds. My son and I LOVE sunflower seeds and have never tried them chocolate coated. Any way, while Ruthie and I were chatting, she came up with this cute idea, so thank you Ruthie! I thought what a fun and easy stocking stuffer for son, if they even make until Christmas!!
I used the Milk Carton Die and the bird house from the Fun Tweet Me Dies for my window.
I am not going to go into full detail on how I created this but I will list all the products used below.
Also since I used the, Tweet ME stamp set, which happens to be the November ~ Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month for my project and today is the last day of the sale, I would totally take advantage. MCT 49th Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 49th Edition Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the very talented Katie's blog. If not, you can start at the beginning over at Emma's blog or there will be a complete blog hop listed below. I have to say this release was so fun to create with and can't wait to share more projects with these amazing new products!
For my project today I totally went with the a movie themed night! I purchased a movie gift card and knew I had to use the Embossed Gift Cardholder Die. Of course the new sets Date Night and Popcorn Background add the perfect details to my project! Now I have to let you one a little secret, I am one who will not pay for candy at the movies! I think they are ridiculously priced, so I take my own treats in! Yep ~ I do that. I will also take these little popcorn containers I found at Target for $1. I purchase the biggest popcorn I can and then divide it up, so not everyone's hands are in the big bucket! I am slightly a germophobe, plus we don't have to pass the bucket back and forth!  Any way, one of my talented design team sisters, Brigit, showed us that we can use the Stitched Belly Band Dies around the gift card holder! Brilliant and fun idea right?? My sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments stamp set. Best part is, I will save these fun little projects, the tickets and pictures (prior to the movie starting) to put in my son's scrap book!
The whole project, note the ribbon was a scrap piece and I will keep recycling this for family projects...

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, Vellum and stash
Ribbon ~ SU and hemp
Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark & Memento
Copic markers
Signo pen

MCT 49th Edition Sneak Peek Day 4

Today is the final day of the 49th Edition Release over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Hasn't this week been making your creative mojo just "pop"?? Today is no exception. Today we will be featuring the new set, Popcorn Background (which comes with coordinating popcorn dies) and the Stitched Pop-up Pieces Dies, this die set has 2 different sizes as well. Oh my these are so fun to work with!
I wanted to keep my card fairly simply.  My popcorn bag is from the bag die from Chalkboard Birthday. Then I heat embossed my background stamp and die cut all the pop corn out and added a little yellow around the edges, since I am not one for tons of butter. Added a little ribbon and my sentiment. Simple right?
Now for the inside of my card, I kept it pretty simple as well. I did cut with the Stitched Pop-Up Piece Dies and then used the Popcorn Background stamp. Adhered the hearts to the pop up part, I am sure Emma will have a video showing how amazing these dies "reely"are. The die for my sentiment is from the new set, Date Night.

Material's Used:
Paper ~ PTI, MME and stash
Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark and Hero Arts

MCT 49th Edition Sneak Peek Day 3

It's Day 3 of the My Creative Time 49th Edition Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team! You are "reely" going to LOVE today!
Today I am sharing a project made with the stamp set, Date Night. I know I "reely" loved working with this stamp/die set! Oh my, it has the best sentiments and the cutest dies ever!! Seriously you are going to want this set!
I die cut the film strip out, then placed vellum behind it and gave it a wave. The picture doesn't do it justice.. My movie reels were die cut with paper from my stash, I did use foam to back the black movie reel to add some dimension. Look how cute that sentiment is, that is why I used the Best Friends Background stamp, I thought it fit "reely" great with it! Sorry I cant resist using some puns every now and then.
I am trying to keep my posts short during release week, if you have any questions please feel free to email me.
Didn't Emma make a darling set?
