MCT ~ Sneak Peek Day #4

Hello and welcome to the final day of the My Creative Time July Sneak Peeks. Didn't Emma do yet another FABULOUS job creating such awesome products for this release? I am in awe of her and the whole MCT design team with their creations!
Today the team will be showcasing Stitched Message Bubble Dies and Fun Speech Bubbles stamp set. These two sets are versatile too and can be used together! I am sure Miss Emma will explain this better in her video!
So one of my favorite sayings is... "Always love BIG!" So why not make a card saying just that! I LOVE how the Stitched Message Dies can be made into a shaker! I rarely make them but couldn't resist this time! For this card I used 5 "new" products to make this card, my list will be under the picture.

MCT ~ Sneak Peek Day #3

Good morning! Welcome to day #3 of the My Creative Time July Sneak Peeks! Miss Emma and the design team have been ROCKIN this release! I say this all the time but I LOVE this release! It has endless possibilities and works so AMAZING with Emma's other products. I lover how she works her magic!!!
Today we will be showcasing a new stamp set called Alpha Pack and Trio Stitched Banner Dies. The Alpha Pack has three different types of alphabet letters. The Trio Stitched Banner Dies fold and can be used in various ways!
For my project I was inspired by my son who has a wonderful opportunity to play tournament ball this year. I thought how fun would it be to make a pin with his name and number on it using the new stamps and dies! When I showed him this, he was so excited. I figured when I am done with it, I can put it in in his scrap book to remember this amazing time in his life. Unfortunately last night , they lost the championship game in this last tournament but were runners up. The team has made incredible strides this season. We have one more tournament starting today and then season will be over. What a great bunch of players, parents and coaches. I am going to miss it!

Paper ~ PTI and paper from my stash

MCT ~ Sneak Peek Day #2

Hello and welcome to Day #2 of the My Creative Time July Sneak Peeks. I was blown away by Emma and the design teams sneaks! Today we will be sneaking the new stamp sets Geo Borders and the Dream Bigger, plus a new die set called Stitched Decorative Banners.
I chose to use the Geo Border stamp set, that has 3 AWESOME stamps. I used only 2 out of the 3 dies from the Stitched Decorative Banners. Now these banners can be used in various ways, I chose to use them a little differently. I liked how they have the same shape as the border stamp. I LOVE how these products we are sneaking today can create a very simple and quick card. I seriously made this in minutes!

MCT ~ Sneak Peek Day #1

Good morning! Today is Sneak Peek Day #1 of the My Creative Time July Release. Can you believe this is Emma's 34th release?? I just adore this release! Today Emma and the design team will be showcasing three new products; Large Cloud Bubble Edge Die, Grainy Wood Background and the Fun Letter Background.
I chose to use the Fun Letter Background for my card today! I fell in love with this stamp as soon as I saw it and the way it stamps. Sort of grungy?? Not sure if that is the word I am looking for though but I love the slight imperfections this background stamp has to it. When I create, I like to stamp out a background a few times, pick the best and then save the non chosen one for die cutting. So I pulled out the Stitched Daisy Die and used my extra piece. LOVE how this turned out. It has a subtle look to it and now I can die cut some other things in the future! I used the stamp set, You are Fabulous, for all my sentiments on my card. This set is seriously a "FABULOUS" set too!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ PTI

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday

Good morning! Today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This time around we were asked to follow the sketch provided. I sort of followed it??? I couldn't resist using the chubby bee from the Stitched Bees and Beehive Dies. I just love this little critter! Then I was looking around and saw that I had a scrap piece of the honey comb from the Stitched Honey Comb Dies just lying around and thought why not use it! I just love the word die "Happy" and decided to layer it! I did flip my bow around just to change things up a tad. Something seriously simple but can leave a smile on someone's face right??

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & Authentique
Copics
twine ribbon

That is it for me today! Don't forget we still have a Designers Challenge going on, click here. Then starting next week, Emma and the design team begin July Sneak Peeks! WHOO HOO!!!

MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Today is Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma and the design team take their scraps, leftover or a recyclable item and use it for our projects. I am always game on using scraps since I seem to have an endless stack!
For my quick and easy project, I thought I would use my scraps to make a note and gift card holder for the back of my box card I made a few weeks ago. Click here for all the details. My paper is from an embossing mistake in my first attempt to make the box card. I just cut it down to fit on the back. Then I used a piece of scrap vellum paper that I used on a project from this post, click here. Since I save the tiniest pieces of paper, I was able to use more scrap for my sentiment too! I will list all the materials below.
This is my project before I attached it to the back of my box card.
Picture of it attached to the box card. LOL!!!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI scraps
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark
embossing powder

That is it for ma today! Please head on over to My Creative Time to see what the design team has done with their scraps. Also don't forget we have a Designer Challenge going to as well! Click here for all the details!

MCT ~ Whatever Wednesday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time it's Whatever Wednesday! This is the day that Emma and the design team create whatever we want! Its always fun to follow sketches or color pallets but sometimes you just want to create whatever your heart desires.
Today I couldn't help myself but create a card for someone who just lost their beloved dog. Emma just has the sweetest stamps and dies, Live Love Bark and Loyal Friends, to let someone know that you are thinking of them during this difficult time. I LOVE dies and these are simply ADORBS!! The little paw prints for my background was a fun last minute idea. I know from our past dog, that paw prints were everywhere and thought their prints always will leave a mark in our hearts. I also cant help but to mix older My Creative Time products with newer ones ~ they really are so versatile! Thanks Emma ~ you make creating so easy!

MCT ~ Designer's Challenge

Good morning! Today starts a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time. Emma and the design team will being using a photo for our inspiration.  You can use the water, boat, color palette or all of the above as inspiration. Click here for all the details and we so hope you play along with us!
Obviously you can tell I used the color pallet because there is no plane in the inspiration picture! LOL! But I was inspired by the picture and the boat. You see, our family will be going on vacation this year to a beach and it will be our sons first plane ride. I figure I will be taking pictures or us with him on the plane and this photo totally inspired me of that day. I really can't wait for our vacation especially since I have been starring at this breath taking picture! Sigh
I chose to do a smash kind of layout. I tend to want to add everything but the kitchen sink to my creations and I really loved these colors! My plan is to add any extra pictures and scanning our boarding passes into the Scalloped Stitched Envelope Die.  The I am so excited because I actually have a layout done before an event instead of years behind! Whoo Hoo!

Materials Used:
Happy Thoughts
Paper ~ PTI, Echo Park and some from my stash
Ink ~ Versa Fine and Archival
hemp
vellum

That is it for me ~ hope you all can join us in the fun challenge!
Have a great day!

MCT ~ Whatever Wednesday

Good morning!!! Today over at My Creative Time it's Whatever Wednesday! This is when Emma and the design team create whatever our hearts desire!!
I thought I would make a quick and corky birthday card for a special person in my life who LOVES flip flops and the color purple! Yes ~ I said purple! The color, most of you already know, I struggle the with!
Since this special person LOVES flip flops, I had to use the new stamp and die set Sit Back & Relax. I embossed them with white embossing powder and added two different colors flowers to the tops. See this special person wears different colored socks and I thought why not make her flip flops not match! LOL! Just a real simple, quick and no frills card.

white embossing powder

That's it for me today! Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see the other design teams creation and DON'T forget, we still have the MCT Designer Challenge still happening! Click here for all the details!

MCT ~ Try Me Tuesday

Hello! Today is Try Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma and the design team try a new technique. Sometimes it is one we have done in the past or something totally new. I must admit most of these techniques are new to me, so I am always super excited for these days!
So this time around we were asked to make a box card. I, of course, have never tried one of these before so I am super excited for this. Click here for a video on how to make one. I also must admit I might be hooked on these!
I have been wanting to use the my Stitched File Folder & Index Card Dies and Typewriter Die for some time now. I fell in love with the Build A Scripty & Watercolor Backgrounds from the May release and knew the "thanks" die from the Happy Thoughts set would be a fun combination together! I used foam, die cut twice and layered on top of each other, to give it extra dimension! LOVE this look and the best part is the foam matched PERFECTLY with my PTI paper! Love when this happens!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ stash
Ink ~ Stampin Up, Archival and Versa Mark
white embossing powder

That's it for me today! I hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you for always being so sweet and kind!
