MCT ~ 38th Edition Release Blog Hop

So for my card today I will be showcasing the stamp and die sets Snowbuddies and Winter Snowman Dies. Well as you can see my little snowman is "peeking" in the winter asking you a very important question! I just LOVE how this card turned out I rarely say things like that about my projects but this one is just too darn CUTE! LOL! Of course my snowman is from the Winter Snowman Dies and my sentiment is from the Snowbuddies set. I LOVE this font too! Of course I couldn't resist using the new Stitched Window & Accessories Dies. I mean remember I was the one begging for these! But how about my little scene... love how Emma's products really can be stretched and so versatile! I will list all my products below but before I go I wanted tell you how I did my wainscoting. Of course I used my new addiction Stitched Rectangular Dies + More but to get my other rectangles for the wainscoting look... I die cut out the Photobooth Stitched Die. Yep ~ that's it and I think it turned out pretty darn good too!

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #4

Today is our final day of the November My Creative Time Sneak Peeks. Well I have been telling you all this entire release is must have and today is the icing on the cake! This little set is called Hello You. It is such a sweet and whimsical little set. I love the vine stamp and there are 3 choices of flowers you can use. Now you can use this vine either vertical or horizontal because either way it is so elegant. I wanted to use the new Scalloped Stitched Ovals Dies with this set with these soft muted colors. Very simple but yet so sweet to send to a friend.

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #3

Hello and welcome to Day #3 of the November My Creative Time Sneak Peaks!

Emma has created the cutest little die set and sentiments for today! The sets we will be featuring today are, the Snow Buddies and Winter Snowman Dies. The one set is packed with just the sweetest sentiments and oh my the dies in the other set ~ adorbs!! They are so fun to create with!

So I thought I would do a Valentine's Day card. I thought my snow people should be sitting on a bench declaring their love for one another! The flowers are from the new set Window Sentiments & Flowers and my bench is from Wishing You Were Here The heart above them is from Winter Cheer. The little snow girl is wearing a bonnet from the Classy Girl Accessories and the flowers for both of their hats are from Seasonal Greetings. 

I wanted to share a close up picture to show you all I added Wink of Stella pen to my snow people, the flowers and my paver stones.

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #2

Hello and welcome to Day #2 of the My Creative Time November Time Sneak Peeks! Today is going to be one of my favorite days ever for release time. I am super excited about today because we will be showcasing the new sets, Window Sentiments & Flower and Stitched Window Dies & Accessories. I have been begging Emma (seriously she has to be over me at this point ~ LOL) to please make a window die! I love to create scene cards and this window die is perfect for just that! Now you don't have to do a whole scene either but I love how they can tell a little story. The sentiment set has so many different sentiments and images that cover a variety of occasions. Then the die set has 8 dies total. The curtains are embossed and there is a flower box and a shelf for the window. Oh I just cant wait to share more with you all on these sets! Eek!

So I wanted to create another Christmas card, I am a tad behind, okay I am really behind on them this year! I stamped the flowers out on patterned paper, then took my Copics and quickly colored them. I added some glossy accents and some TH distress glitter for my flowers and snow drifts too. I attempted to make my glass pane (acetate) look frosted by using SU white ink, some glossy accents and distress glitter. What do you think??

Again these 2 sets are must have sets because again there are endless possibilities. Thanks Emma ~ I am in LOVE!!!

MCT ~ November Sneak Peek Day #1

Good morning! Are you ready for a week of amazing sneak peeks? Emma and the design team over at My Creative Time have been working hard with the November release! We promise not to disappoint! As always I will try my best to l keep my post very brief this whole week.
Today we will be showcasing the new die set Stitched Ovals. I am so excited for these dies! There is endless possibilities with these fun shapes. You could use the horizontally or vertically which can totally change the look of your project. There are 7 different sizes in the set and I LOVE them all! Now I have lot more ideas on how to use these awesome new dies but for today, I chose to do a shaped Christmas card. The outside scallop die is slightly larger than a A2 size card. I doubled stamped my pine needle stamp from the Boughs of Holly stamp set. I did use a Copic liner pen, a white Signo pen and Wink of Stella pen. I just love how this card turned out.

MCT ~ Designer Challenge

Today starts another My Creative Time Designer Challenge. This time around Emma and the design team are inspired by this gorgeous picture. I just love these colors, the picture and oh my Pottery Barn. I love that store and could spend some time and money in there!
I thought this was a perfect time to wish a sweet friend a Happy Thanksgiving. I couldn't resist using the set A Thankful Heart. It truly has the most beautiful sentiments and fonts. Plus the leaf dies in this set are simply gorgeous. I love how Emma embossed them. So I inked all the edges and centers then crumpled them up a tad. I used the little frame dies from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More for my heat embossed sentiment. I used Tim Holtz ink for my Grainy Wood Background because I like the look of it being a tad worn. Something super simple and easy to whip up!

MCT ~ Inspirational Wednesday

Good morning! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far! Today is Inspirational Wednesday over at My Creative Time, with Emma and the design team.  This is when us design team ladies find something that inspires us. Well for my project today, I was inspired by the colors the ladies used yesterday for their tags, my brother-in-laws birthday and of course my MCT products!
I just ADORE the stamp set Picture Perfect. Since I was on vacation during that release, I haven't had time to play with it too much.  I needed to make a no frills man card super fast. It is a joke between my BIL and myself how social media illiterate we are, so I thought this would make him laugh! I love that Emma has been coming out with word dies and plus the size of these are so perfect for so many projects. Lots of fun sentiments in this set too! I couldn't resist using the Number Fun Dies + Add Ons set... it was like I was screaming his age! Ha!
I am sorry for the bad picture, I was running behind while making this and the sun went a vanished on me! I really don't like this time of year, the sun is gone too fast! Also note there is no ribbon on my project ~ this might be a first!

MCT ~ Trending Now Thursday

Good morning! Emma and the design team started a new segment over at My Creative Time called Trending Thursday. This is when we create projects that are in now! This time around we are doing Graphic Word Art. This is when a word or words are the main focus.
so I searched through all my ~ My Creative Time products to see what I wanted to work with since I like trying to blend some old products with new! My sentiment is from the stamp set, Christmas Doggy. I did cut a template using the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and stamped away to make ornament. My little bulb hanger is from the stamp set Warm Holiday Fun. Of course I couldn't resist using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies + More. They are my new addition! I like how CAS this is and how easy they can be to mass produce.

MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Hello crafty friends! Today is What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma and the design team create something that has to do with treats!
So I bought these chocolate cover pretzels (3 came in the actual package) and thought these were perfect for Fall and my men! So I re~wrapped them, 2 for the big man and 1 for my little man. I thought these would be a nice surprise in their lunches! I personally wanted to eat them and I am not even a chocolate person but dang these looked so yummy for some reason???
Anyway I pulled out the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies and thought it was the PERFECT sized tag. I then stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Greetings set along with a few little leaves. I mean who doesn't LOVE all the Fall colors out there even though they are fading fast around here. The little squiggly design is from the Fright Night stamp set. Something very simple but I hope it makes their day! I didn't want to spend too much time on this because we all know they just want the treat itself! LOL!
