Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge ~ Sports Theme

Emma over at is having a challenge, this week it is Sports related. I just happen to have the Sports Mania Cartridge. So my dear neighbors birthday is in a couple of weeks and my son wanted me to make him a card that has to do with golf, so this is just perfect! They sit on the couch, eating popcorn and watch golf! It baffles me that my son sits that long and still because he is so active but he just adores our neighbor! Hope you enjoy!

Fall / Halloween Blog Hop WINNER!

First and foremost I would like to thank Stephanie over at for asking me to do this blog hop! Thank You Stephanie! It was alot of fun for me for many reasons; my first  blog hop ever, getting 2 scrapbook pages done for my son, being apart of these talented ladies and reading all the comments! I am soo glad that I am not the only one out there who is behind ~ I Thank all the other ladies who admitted that too! I also want to give a shout out to Carol and Barrie over at for sponsoring the grand prize. Please go check their store out ~ you won't be disappointed!
I also had a few emails and a few questions about my pages. I am very bad about writing down details because I cut about 100 pieces of them to see what  size works. Just call me the "Queen of Paper Waste"! My SIL and my dear niece will read this sometime and totally agree!
For my leaves I used 3 different sized punches, no cartridge ~ even though I think Cricut just released a cartridge with some nice leaves. My tree was from the Heritage cartridge! I LOVE this cartridge too ~ so many ideas in my little brain!

And now for the winner...

Fall ~ Halloween Blog Hop!

Hello! Welcome to the Fall and Halloween Blog Hop! This is my first blog hop that I have ever participated in, so please bare with me on this new adventure! If you are coming from Dorcas a.k.a you are right on track. If you just happen to stumble across my blog, you might want to start from the beginning at are gracious hostess Stephanie's a.k.a Stephanie has lined up some very talented ladies! I have admired some of these ladies for awhile and have found some new blogs to be inspire me by their creations! Stephanie found these wonderful ladies, Carol and Barrie, to sponsor the hop! They have this awesome store called that is every crafters dream! They have generously donated the Tim Holtz On the Edge Die, which was signed by him, and a Kaiser Craft Paper Pack called Jades Garden. So please stop by their store and take a look!
I have decided to do some Fall Layouts for my son's scrapbook! Take note he is 5 years of age now, so you can truly see how far behind I really am! Lol. They first page is of him and my sister. From the moment she first set her eyes on him, she fell in love.

This layout is also a Fall layout. I went a little leaf crazy! I just love the colors of Fall and all those leaves! I just couldn't resist! Nobody informed that I didn't have make-up on either! I just hate this picture of myself but Mom's are rarely in pictures, plus that little stinker HATED sleeping. Even to this day, he is not a sleeper! Ugh ~ but I love him anyway!
So here is my only requirement for this hop, just leave a comment and a way for me to contact you! Yep, that is it, if you want to become a follower PLEASE do so! I have to approve your comments, so try to leave just one, I will be checking throughout the day and updating them as often as I can. I will keep it open until Wednesday, October 6th, 12:00 AM  Eastern standard time.I chose to giveaway a Hannah Montana Cartridge! I was going to use it on my layouts but totally forgot. It has some awesome fonts and some neat shapes too!

In order to quailify for the grand prize giveaway over at Stephanie's you MUST visit all 11 talented ladies and leave a comment! It was never opened or used. Thank You for stopping and I will try to have the winner Thursday morning ~ hopefully, we will see how and I get along!  Your next stop is Momo over at .
Thanks again!

Fantabulous Cricut ~ Challenge Me Monday ~#29

Fantabulous Cricut is celebrating "National Sewing Month". So this weeks challenge is to incorporate sewing into our projects! So I decided to do another page for my son's scrapbook! I sewed around the border. The circles in the middle of the page sorta represent the circle of life concept, using pictures of our Mom's, us and now our son! Hope you enjoy!
