My Creative Time 3~D Wednesday

Hello & welcome to My Creative Time's 3~D Wednesday! Today Emma and the MCT crew have some AWESOME creations to share with you all! I decided to get a head start on Valentine's Day treats for my son's class, his teachers/custodian/bus driver and whoever is part of his school family! I also did one for my sweet husband ~ he LOVES sweets!

I have seen this CUTE little cut from so many of you super talented and creative people out there! It is from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I cut it at 11.24 ~ I like to stuff tons of candy in my treats so I made it as big as I could! You never know when that sugar charge is needed ~ plus my son is not the sweet eater. I always feel bad sending all this candy home with the other children but hey you only are little once ~ right?? LOL! Anyway I made 3 different versions of the same cut and embellished them just a little different. The pink ones are for the teachers ( need to make 14 ~ I also include the principal, the admin assistant, nurse, librarian ~ you get the hint)~ and CAS looking. Note the custodian and bus driver I may make red ~ pink might be a tad too feminine but decorated the same. The Kraft one is for my husband ~ like I said he LOVES chocolate and sweets. The treat boxes with the pencils attached on the outside are for his classmates. Tried to keep them as simple as can be ~ I do need to make 24 of these! These will be all different papers~ trying to use up all my Valentines Day paper from Martha Stewart that I have had forever!  I will list all materials used under each picture! I will take a picture when they are all done and post at some point ~ wish me luck! Okay that is it for me today! Head on over to My Creative Time and see what all the amazing ladies have in store for you all!

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time , Emma and the MCT designer's are back with the first Designers Challenge of 2013! Today the very creative and talented Miss Liz, from Liz's Paper Loft, will be hosting this challenge! Liz is calling it a "1,2,3 Challenge". For this challenge you must use 1 bow, 2 pattern papers and 3 buttons to your creation. It can be a card or layout. Fun right!

So for my card I wanted to keep it rather simple. I found this paper at Joann's and just fell in LOVE with! I love how subtle it looks. The rest of my materials I will list below ~ still trying to keep my posts brief this year and not keep you here so long ~ hopefully this lasts for all of us! Hehehe!!!

We could make an size banner we wanted ~  whether it be large, small, on a card, a layout or whatever our hearts desire!

Well this is my FIRST time ever making a banner! Yep ~ I have admired so many of you talented crafters make them! This was one of my new years resolutions ( crafting resolutions) so I was SUPER excited! I knew I wanted to make a BIG one and boy did I make mine BIG! I used chipboard for my base then covered it with paper! I cut the chipboard in 6 x 6 pieces and rounded the corners. I layered it down from there! Big right?? What was I thinking ~ it was so difficult to photograph hanging up! I must have taken a billions photos. The good thing is I was smart enough to think a head and take pictures of the pieces by themselves before assembling them! So I will list ALL materials used under each letter! I used my FAVORITE  Cricut font (Cricut cartridge ~ Plantin Schoolbook) and Recollections paper ( Union Square/ Plaza Union) and a variety of inks for my project!  So I must apologize for the picture heavy post!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13~3:: 3~D Objects

Hello crafty friends! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I know I did! My son has an extended weekend ~ so this is going up a tad late today! Well Peachy Keen is having their 3rd challenge for this year! This week they asked us to create a 3~D object with a bear on it! Fun right!! Unfortunately since my craft starvation diet is still going on I do not have any PKS bears or faces ~ insert sad face ~ but that's okay I tried to make do with what I have! So for my project I decided to use one of my favorite Cricut bear cut ever! I did cut his head to give him just a little more definition. So I looked through my stash of PKS stamps and  decided to use the PKS "In Stitches Face" stamp set. He didn't turn out to bad right?? For my 3~D object, I used my Sizzix die "Bag w/handles". So sad only used this a few times and meanwhile its so easy to put together and rather quick to do! The rest of my materials I will list below to make this post quick! We were still enjoying our long weekend!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13 ~ 2 :: Sketch

Good evening! Peachy Keen Stamps is having a sketch challenge this week! You still have a few more hours to enter! My "LOVE" bus ~ as I call it is for my son! He was sick last week and we were just lying around and drug out my stamps! Well he noticed this bus ~ "PK~128 School Bus and Lunch" stamp and giggled! So I thought why not go completely crazy and make this for him for Valentines day ~ a "Love" bus! Of course he will have some other crafty and non crafty things coming his way too! I paper pieced it with  some Carta Bella paper called "Devoted",   inked and colored it just a tad. On the top of this bus it usually say "school" but I masked that off and used a My Creative Time sentiment from the "Lots of Love Stamp Set"  . I glossy accented the eyes to give them a glassy look! My hearts are also My Creative Time ~ "Stitched Heart Layering Dies" . The "Valentine" sentiment is from the "Lots of Love Stamp Set"  too! I used the "Curly Label Die" and the "Stitched Curly Label Die" . I used some hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique , Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stampin Up ink, Copics, Archival Ink, Tim Holtz Ink and all other paper is Paper Trey Ink.

Sorry for all that in one  paragraph but time is a ticking! Plus my little one needs to be in bed ~ so this Mommy must go! Thanks for stopping by!

Quick and CAS card

Happy Monday and good morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had very unusual weather here ~ in the high 60's!! I actually had some of my windows open trying to get some germs out of the house! My son was sick last week and I disinfected the house, made some homemade soup and opened the windows!

Anyway I will try not to keep you to long here today! I have seen so many of you amazing crafters out there create CAS cards. Well I thought ~ one of my new year "crafty" resolutions ~ I would try this style of cards more often! I must admit it is so hard not to add ~ I tend to add as much as possible. So as I venture into this little journey please bare with me ~its so hard not too add stuff!

Emma, from My Creative Time, just had this AWESOME release! So for my card today I used the "Stitched Scallop Heart Die Set" and used the heart cuts from this die. I simply just layered them. My sentiment is from the stamp set "Lots of Love" . All my paper is Paper Trey Ink and the ink is Archival.

Quick and simple right!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13~1 ~ Anything Goes

Hello crafty friends! I know it has been FOREVER since I posted but I have been enjoying my family. We have been so busy before, during and even after Christmas that I am just getting all of us back into our normal routine! My little one went back to school and boy it is bitter sweet for me!

Any way ~ Peachy Keen Stamps has their first challenge for 2013 going on until midnight tonight. I know playing it close right?? They have a wonderful team over there ~ some new faces and some I am familiar with ~ ALL of them are very talented!

So I searched through my PKS stamps and found this CUTE little feed sack! It is or was "PK 205 Feed, Santa or Flour Sack". Unfortunately I think it is retired. I also am not sure if I ever used it before but I know it was love at first sight when I saw this! So I colored it with my Copics. Then I remember I saw this CUTE little stitched heart from the stamp set "PK~225 Happy Flowers and Cheerful Phrases" to put on the front of it. Again I think this one is retired too! This set also has the sentiment "Love You!" on it too ~ perfect right! So I clear embossed the heart and sentiment on red paper and then tried my best to fussy cut it. I decided I wanted to use the circle die from My Creative Time's "Scallop & Stitched Circle" die.  Emma also came out with these ADORABLE new dies called "Stitched Heart Layering Dies" . They hearts are 3 different sizes and you can layer them or not ~ whatever you choose they look amazing either way. I wanted to fill my sack with tons of LOVE!!

Alright that is it for me today!! I hope you ALL had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year too!! My everyone have health, happiness and a prosperous year!
