MCT ~ Manly Monday

Good morning! I sure hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today is Manly Monday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we make "manly" cards.
My husbands birthday was last Friday, so I thought I would make him a tag for his gift. For my project today I used the Greatest Handyman stamp/die set. This set screams manly and I simply adore this set.  I simply colored some images with Copic markers and die cut the images out. I heat embossed my sentiment. My tags are from the sets, Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers. These are must have die set in my opinion.
Something totally simple for that super special guy in your life!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Memento, VersaFine and VersaMark
Ribbon & Twine ~ SU
Copic markers
clear embossing powder

MCT ~ Inspire Me Wednesday

Good morning! Today is Inspire Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! My card today was inspired from Laura Bassen who is beyond talented! Laura moved to a new blog called, laurafodora.com. To see where my inspiration came from click here
When I first saw Laura's card I new I wanted to make this card. I did my best to change it up a little but I loved how crisp this card looked and the colors where just PERFECT! Of course all my stamps and dies are from My Creative Time.

I simply stamped my background with most of the same colors Laura used but used the stamp set, Card Boarders for my background. This set can be used for boarders but is also fun to use for backgrounds. Next I used the Fun Notes set for my "thanks". I decided not to use the coordinating stamp. I added a small heart from the Stitched Button Dies and added some twine. Last but not least I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More to change it a tad more.

If you have a chance check out Laura's blog ~ super talented over there with a ton of inspiration too!

I put some cookies in a cellophane bag added some twine then added a felt heart which is from the Stitched Button Dies to add some color.

For my project today I needed to make something super fun for my little guy Ry! We pretty much do movie night every Friday night. I heat embossed some images from the Date Night stamp & die set onto my treat holder, along with the sentiment from this set as well. I then used the Popcorn Background to make my little popcorn, I mean what is a movie night with out popcorn?? I thought it would be fun to add some of our favorite candies in some cellophane bags.
Super simple right?

MCT ~ 63rd Edtion Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Good morning!! Welcome to the final day of the 63rd Edition Sneak Peeks over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! I can tell you all, you are going to LOVE this small but AMAZING release! It will be packed with fun ideas for any occasion!
Today Emma and the design team will be featuring 2 new dies called, Treat Label Dies and Treat Pouch Die. I have to say I fell totally in love with these new dies!
I figured I would create projects this week showing you how to use the new dies for any occasion besides a specific holiday.
I obviously used the Treat Pouch to hold my wrapped Lifesavers. The circles from Bunch of Fun Circle Dies are perfect to die cut a window and to create my lifesaver. I used foam tape to adhere my lifesaver to the pouch. I used the Treat Label Dies as a tag, since I wanted you to see the window. My sentiment and the sweet little waves are from the stamp set, Lost At Sea. I thought the play with words was fun and actually got this idea from my friend Angela, who sent me the Lifesavers awhile back as a thank you!
Super simple right???
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark

MCT ~ Thoughful Thursday

Good morning! It's Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Team with Emma and the design team! I love the thought behind the this post day, it can be a project to say get well, congratulations or just because  project!
Today I thought I would make a quick little card for a sweet friend who just needs a little pick me up! The hearts used are from the last release, Heart Love Note Dies. I thought the heart in red over lapping the solid heart gave this CAS card a little dimension, since this card needs to mailed. For the solid heart, I decided to add some clouds by using the More Stitched Edge Dies. My cute little doggie is from the Mini Lolly Add-Ons set, I seem to gravitate towards him with that sweet little heart balloon. The sentiment is from the Chocolate Greetings set and it comes with this coordinating die.
Something CAS and to the point for a sweet friend!

MCT ~ 3D Wednesday

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope your new year started off fabulous too!
Today  Emma and the design team over at My Creative Time are creating any type of treat holder, gift card holder, favor or gift, anything but a card.
I truly love these days because who doesn't love to receive something little.
For today my project is super simple and something you can totally create for those grade school Valentine's Day party or that special Valentine. I didn't want to put a lot into these projects because honestly the kids just rip them open and get the goodies. You could use pattern paper or emboss any of the MCT images to create your own. But since I wanted to keep these simple and get a start on them, I thought keeping them CAS was my best bet!
I used the Bubblegum Treat Box Die for the fun treat box. I do adore this little die! Then I used the new stamp and die set, Chalkboard Valentines die and two of the sentiments from this set. This is an adorable set!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaMark and VersaFine
twine ~ SU
clear embossing powder
heart buttons from $1 bin at Target
