On a more personal note:

I have to say Miss Emma is one AMAZING person. I just don't mean her products either, LOVE them, I mean as a friend. She is so sweet, kind, generous and extremely talented. She allowed me to be apart of her awesome team and I will be forever grateful. She knew I was coming off a very difficult loss, my sweet daddy, and offered me this AMAZING opportunity. What she may not know is she helped me in so many ways by doing this.  Then again this pasted summer we lost my beloved mother in law. Again Emma encouraged me to take whatever time I needed to be with my family. I will be FOREVER grateful Emma ~ you will be forever in my heart.!  Emma always says family comes first. She doesn't just mean hers either, she means ours as well.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything ~ you are one in a million! Love you!

Now with all that said my fellow My Creative Time Design team sisters. What a FABULOUS bunch of woman! They too are not only talented but simply loving & caring bunch of ladies. We all have been through some hard times and somehow we were all there in one way or the other for each other. We cried together, we laughed together and laughed until we cried! If someone needed something there was always someone there for advice, opinions and some encouraging words ! I will never forget any of you! I am so blessed to call all of you "FRIENDS". I love you all too!

We are one big happy My Creative Time family!

MCT ~ 5 Day of Christmas ~ Day 5

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home décor, 3-D items & what ever else come to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!
Well today is our last and final day of the 5 days of Christmas! I had a blast not only making my projects but seeing everyone elses! So many wonderful ideas that I can use for this holiday and many other holidays too.

So for my project today you CAN make this very cheaply too... I DID NOT! LOL! I needed a paint brush, went out into the garage and pulled down this big plastic bin on the shelf. Sifted thru it and found this awesome wooden handle brush. So I trek back into the house. I thought I had red paint to paint my handle ~ nope. So I wait until the hubs comes home and ask him if he has any. He brings me enamel paint in but hey its red. So I pain the first coat, fumes making me a tad dizzy and the hubs comes in. He looks at the paint brush and says "That's my Purdy paint brush!". Well the look on his face was priceless! It did come in a nice wrapper sort of thing but what do I know about  paint brushes ~ nothing apparently. Needless to say you can buy an inexpensive brush, paint the handle red! I then had my wonderful sister in law give me some awesome white vinyl. So I wanted to make my handle have polka dots. So I pulled out the "Stitched Button Dies" and used the small one. I then used the "Build A Banner Kit" for nose. I told you all, you would see this nose again! LOVE it! Glittered it up. The for my Santa trim, I had a sweet friend RAK'd me some AWESOME fabric. Thank You Cathryn! I knew I wanted some vinyl eyebrows for my Santa and thought the trim piece from the hat from the "Here's Lookin' At You" set would be perfect! The rest of the materials I will list below!

MCT ~ 5 Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home décor, 3-D items & what ever else come to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! You will see the different prizes each day on Emma's blog HERE! I hope we ALL inspire you this week!
Today I wanted to make something totally fun for my husband! Long story short but we went away over Thanksgiving. I took my camera with me ~ NEVER even touched it because I had my phone. Once we got home I went to unpack and find lotion all over it and thru it! I put it in a plastic grocery bag and threw it in my bag. I never thought to look in the grocery bag, here it had lotion in that! Needless to say it was completely ruined. I have a new camera on the way thanks to some awesome advice from Emma, Cindy and Katie! Hope to have it by the end of this week! See this is why I try to keep my posts short anymore ~ just ramble on and on! Anyway I made this for my husband. See I was going to get him a new laptop for Christmas but with me doing this to our camera,  he is, well t put it nicely "POOP" out of luck! So he is getting reindeer poop instead. Poor guy, he so deserves a lot more than this but I thought it would be a funny and to say thanks for thinking of me first. Also he LOVES Whoppers! I just might make these for my son's class for Christmas treats. I won't go completely crazy on them because they will just rip them apart but I thought these could be cute!

I dusted off the Circut and pulled out the Doodlecharm cartridge. Yep ~ I am not kidding about using that machine!  I just love this cartridge & cut but decided to use the circle from the "Build A Banner Kit" . I think it makes the cutest noses EVER! You will see this nose again tomorrow too! Wink, Wink! I used the "Small Stitched Scalloped Bow Die" and the "Fun Sized Scallop Stitched Bow Die" and put them together! I saw a few of my fellow DT's do this and loved the idea. I think it looks so cute on the reindeer! I can also see it used on the top of the reindeer for a girl deer too.

Today I wanted to make a card! I just LOVE this new "Classy Girl & Furbaby Die" ! It so PERFECT by itself with the "Classy Girl Accessories" but I couldn't resist adding a few touches myself! I just cut her out in red and white cardstock and paper pieced her just a tad! My girl is so ready for the holiday season!  Emma has the best fonts for her stamp set "Fun Variety on The Inside & Out" stamp set. Both of the sentiments/phrases I used were from this stamps set! Plus it coordinates with the girl die . Then of course I had to use the "Fun Stitched Edges" and stamped my doily with one of the new "Get Schooled Stamp Set" . Adore these new stamps too! Emma's products just blend perfectly together!

For my project today I wanted to keep it really simple and inexpensive. I used some of my favorite stamps for this project! I LOVE the images and sentiments and thought this would be PERFECT for this cocoa~ kit jar!  I bought the jar from Target ~ found it later at Wal-Mart cheaper $5. Then for my hot chocolate, marshmallows and peppermints I might have spent a total of $10 and the best part is I bought big bags so I can make a few more for a gift under $10. Not to bad right?

All you have to do is squish the hot chocolate and marshmallows in a bag and stuff the peppermints beside and behind them. Easy right?

These are the materials I used to make my little tag!

Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Archival
Ribbon ~ May Arts
