MCT 48th Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 48th Edition Release Blog Hop. You should have arrived from the very talented Katie's blog. If you didn't, don't worry, you can start over at Emma's blog or I will have the complete blog hop list posted below.
We hope you were blown away by this release as much as the design team was. It was not only fun to create but I loved how quickly my projects came together.
Today I want to share another quick, fun and cute idea with you all. My sweet friend loves my cupcakes I make. They aren't from scratch or anything but she loves when I send some over. So the next batch I make I will be sending them over a little prettier! So I bought this 4 cupcake box from Joann's eons ago. I decided to finally pull it out and spruce it up a little. I heat embossed some of the images from the set, Mixed Just For You on the top of the cupcake box. Sadly my ribbon covered a few of them but when she unties the bow, she will see them. My tag is made from the Stitched Apron die. I think this Apron die is so darn CUTE for a tag! I die cut the chefs hat and the oven mitt out and tucked them in the little pocket. Seriously I adore these sets!
Again something so simple and quick to make to brighten someone's day!

MCT 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day #4

Today is the final day of the My Creative Time 48th Edition Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team. If you weren't blown away with Emma's new stamp and dies, today might just do it!
Today's we are featuring the new stamp and die set, Mixed Just For You and the new Stitched Apron die. OMG ~ these are seriously over the top ADORABLE!!! I love both of these sets. I can see them used for cards, tags and for our scrapbooks as well.
I decided to do a fun project for myself, recipe cards. I will pass these down to my son because they come from both of his amazing grandma's. Super simple recipes but something we hold dear to our hearts. I will laminate these after I fix my little goof up! Can you see it?  If not good but if so, please know it will be fixed.
Anyway, I thought I would print the recipes up and use the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More to cut them out. The I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal Dies to make them a little bigger. My goal is to comprise a big cook book together of family favorite recipes. Here is where the fun part begins. I heat embossed the images from the set, Mixed Just For You, on my background. I then die cut and colored various images, I even tried to make a marble rolling pin. Aren't these so darn ADORABLE?? Something super simple but will be fun for generations to come to see!

MCT 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day #3

Welcome to Day 3 of the My Creative Time 48th Edition Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team!
Today we are sharing the "freebie" die for this release, Bestie! It's so darn adorable! I know we have friends but when you can label a friend your "Bestie" , you know that is a person you can always count on to be there through the good, the bad and crazy times! I have a "Bestie" who I have been friends with for over 20 some years.
I die cut my Bestie die out, heat embossed the sentiment from the new set, Friendships are Forever on the Stitched Doily Die. I couldn't resist using the little girl robot from Best Bots Forever. My background is from Best Friends Background stamp, which has continuous friend phrases. Now if any of you know me, my love for ribbon and big bows never seems to die, sort of like our friendship!
Something super fun and easy to create to send to your "Bestie".

MCT 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day #2

It's Day 2 of the My Creative Time 48th Edition Sneak Peeks! Well if you thought yesterday was a fun day wait until today! Emma has this awesome new background stamp called, Best Friends Background. If you look real close to it, there are a ton of wonderful sayings.
I heated embossed the background on white card stock. Then I used the speech bubble die from Speech Bubble Sentiments stamp set to make my card base. I thought why not add the 'friends" word die from the new set, Friendships are Forever. Since I wanted some dimension, I also cut it out with kid foam, added some twine and a button for the speech part of my card. The little telephone is from the set, Best Bots Forever.
For the inside of my card, this sentiment speaks volumes for a few of my friends. We don't always get to talk often but when we do, we pick up right where we left off the last time we spoke. Those are forever friends in my heart. My sentiment was heat embossed on the negative part, along with the hearts, from the set. 4x4 Journal Die + More set. I can't leave out the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More, they are another must have set.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark

MCT 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day #1

Welcome to the My Creative Time 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day 1 with Emma and the design team.
Well Emma has done it again! She has the CUTEST release and we can't wait to share it with you all this week.
Today we are featuring the new stamp set, Friendships are Forever. I have to say I adore the name of this set because it's a perfect way to describe friendships! There are so many wonderful sentiments in this set but the one I am using today, I seriously LOVE! Now you don't have to put the sentiment on the front of the card like I chose to do, I think just adding the word die and stamping the sentiment inside would be a perfect idea! This set comes with two words dies as well.
I wanted to keep my card soft, subtle and delicate. I used the Stitched Squares Inside & Out. I decided to off set them and try something a little different for once, note I still couldn't resist using ribbon though! LOL! . My hearts are from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies.
I can't wait for you all to see the rest of this set ~ over the top AMAZING!!!
I will keep all my pots super short and sweet all week ~ I don't want you to miss a single project!

Paper ~ PTI & ME
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark

MCT ~ What Inspires Me Wednesday

Good morning! Today is What Inspires Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team.
My card was inspired by this wonderful woman, Dena over at The Creativity Cave. She created these gorgeous backgrounds and shares a wonderful how-to video. I know it doesn't totally look like Dena's, unfortunately I didn't have the glue she used for the  glitter spritzing  but next time I attempt one of her backgrounds I will have it for sure! Thanks Dena for sharing your inspiration with us!
I die cut my rectangle out suing the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More Dies in white paper. Then I used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and masked off  for my moon. Then I just started inking away.  The bats, sentiment and Halloween die is from the Wicked Fun Dies set. Now my background didn't turn out as smooth looking as Dena's but I still like how mine turned out. I think mine looks a little stormy??? I am guessing with more practice I may get better at backgrounds. After over 5 years of crafting, I am always inspired by all of you! This is such a fun craft and so inspired to try new techniques!

MCT ~ Tag it Tuesday

Good morning! Today is Tag it Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the ladies! Today I have a fun little tag for Halloween! I thought the sentiment, "Halloween wishes and Mummy kisses", from the set Too Cute to Spook was to darn CUTE not to use with some kisses! I pulled out the Holiday Tags, created my own little back ground and heat embossed the main sentiment in orange. Now I must confess, I used my VersaMark ink that has a great deal of black on it. So some of my orange embossed sentiments have a funny look to them. I am okay with that because lets be honest, the kids are not going care and want the candy, right?? I used the mummy die and quickly used some Copic markers, again not taking too much time on them. These are super easy and cute idea to mass produce!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Hero Arts,Archival, VersaMark and VersaFine
Ribbon ~ May Arts

MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Good morning! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far! We are busy as usual in our house but I'm enjoying every minute of it!
Today it's What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the ladies. I love this day to be honest. I love to stick little treats in my son and my husband's lunches to show them how much  I love them! Well my son loves gummie bears, so when I saw these cute little Halloween gummie kitties , I had to buy them for him!
I used the Milk Carton Die and  the kitty die from You had Me at Meow to make a window. I quickly colored another kitty and added the witches hat from the set, Wicked Fun Dies. My tag is from the set, Holiday Tag and the sentiment is from the Fright Night set. I did heat emboss the sentiment ~ I love the look and feel of heat embossing. I love how versatile Emma's stamps and dies are! Something super duper simple can totally make someone smile!

Ink ~ Archival and VersaMark
