3~D Wednesday with My Creative Time

Good Morning! Today is 3~D Wednesday over at My Creative Time! Today Emma and the design team have all created 3~D projects. NO cards and layouts. Today I am showing you how versatile the My Creative Time stamp set "I Believe In Leprechauns" can really be! There are so many sentiments on this set that can be used for more than St. Patrick's Day! So I decided to make something for my husband just to show him how much I truly am "LUCKY" to have him as my "friend" and  for his "love"! He LOVES Whoppers and this is something he will truly get a chuckle out of receiving too!

So I decided to cut the horseshoe 9which everyone says it is for luck) @ 9.5 about 6 times. Adhered 3 together for each side. I cut acetate for the middle part to hold the whoppers. I don't remember the size of the acetate but I cut slits on both side of the acetate. Bent them and used score tape to adhere them on each side of the shoes. I hope this makes sense! Since I used Core'dination paper it was so fun to  try and make it look a little rustic! I couldn't resist to use my Stitched Heart Die because it fit perfectly with the "Lucky In Love" and "Lucky to have a friend like you!" sentiments from the "I Believe In Leprechauns" stamp set!

The backside! I kinda went a little crazy with this but I just couldn't help myself!

Materials Used:
My Creative Time Stamp Set ~ "I Believe In Leprechauns" ~ sentiments
My Creative Time ~ Stitched Heart Die
Cricut Cartridge ~ Old West
Core'dinations Paper
Jute, Raffia, Acetate, Brads and Ranger ink

Please head on over to My Creative Time to see what the other FABULOUS designers have created.

I just wanted to share with you a VERY simple, fast and easy card to put together to send to someone special in your life!
For my card I used My Creative Time Happy Hunting stamp set for my sentiment. This is part of Emma's new release. What a fun set to own and can be so versatile too!

Like I said a VERY simple, easy and fun card to make! My husband wanted me to add some ripples because when he makes eggs, the poor egg wants to jump out of the pan from the heat! So I tried, very hard to see it! My son wanted me to add bacon ~ he is too CUTE!

Materials used:
My Creative Time ~ Happy Hunting and Stitched Oval Die
Cricut Cartridge ~ Just Because Cards (egg)
Paper ~ Paper Trey Ink and Recollections

3~D Wednesday at My Creative Time ~ Easter/Spring Home Decor

Hello and welcome to My Creative Time 3~ D Wednesday! Emma and my fellow design team members all created 3~D items. We were asked not to do a card or layout! I LOVED doing this! I actually used items that I had lying around my house for quite some time except for my paper (which I LOVE) and the eggs. So for my project I decided to use My Creative Time stamps sets Happy Hunting, Hello Spring, Spring Chicken Backgrounds,  and XL Label Borders. I am so in LOVE and TOTALLY addicted to the chicken wire stamp!

So the jar was from some candle thing??? and the nest I had planned on making a wreath with, which never happened.  So I stamped my chicken wire stamp on 12x12 acetate. Let that dry. I tore my birds nest apart; make sure you do this over a shopping bag ~ HUGE mess!  Once your acetate is dry, cut and tape together. I just placed it in my jar. Then placed the torn apart birds nest on the bottom of the jar. My eggs were ornaments for Easter trees??? So I cut the ribbon off of those. Then I layered My Creative Time XL Label Die and used the Scallop & Stitched Circle Die for my tags. I wanted to use this decoration for Easter and Spring. All you have to do is turn the ribbon around (it slides around very nicely) to the side you want to display. I tried to make it very versatile.

Materials used:
My Creative Time Stamp Sets ~ Happy Hunting, Hello Spring,
DCWV Linen Paper stack
Stampin Up ~ ribbon
Paper Trey Ink Jute
Tim Holtz Ink ~ walnut stain
Eggs from Joann's
bird nest and jar from stash

Please make sure you go over to My Creative Time to see all the designers' projects! I am sure you will not be disappointed!

For my project today I am showcasing one of Emma's new stamp sets " Happy Hunting". Isn't this the most ADORABLE set? I think it is! Those bunnies are too CUTE! So for my project I decided to get a jump start on some Easter treats. I used the "Happy Hunting" stamps set for all the images and sentiments! I decided to give coloring a try. I need to practice a great deal more but the two little girls (sister's) aren't going to care because they just might be impressed I colored inside the lines! LOL.

They LOVE the color purple! So I thought I would make them matching sets. For the cards I used MCT~ XL Label Die, the sentiment and two different bunny images are from the MCT Happy Hunting stamp set.  I also decided to make them a little treat using the MCT Stitched Lollipop Holder Die, the MCT Scalloped & Stitched Oval Die and the grass images are from the MCT Happy Hunting stamp set.

Here are the images of the stamp set I featured today!

My Creative Time February Sneak Peek Week ~ Day #3

Good morning and welcome to day #3 of My Creative Time Sneak Peek! Today we are to be show casing the AMAZING stamp set  "Hello Spring" ! Emma REALLY out did herself with this stamp set! The stamps and images are just simply FABULOUS! Okay all of Emma's stamps are but these are simply incredible!

So for my card I decided to do something VERY simple and basic. The "Hello Spring" stamps set comes with these adorable egg dies! Yes ~ egg dies! So I die cut the egg out, inked the daisy looking stamp. I have to say, my favorite flower is the daisy. Plus one of my favorite movies is "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" with Doris Day! I colored in the centers of the flowers and added some stickles and of course layered the egg. I am all about layers! I tied a little bow around the egg. I decided to add the "Chevron ~ rick rack to the sides, from the stamp set "Hello Spring".  Thanks Miss Katie for the name of the little stamp  images. A big bow just wasn't working. I also decide to use My Creative Time Teeny Tags for my sentiment. I just masked the stamp just to get the word "Hello".

For the inside of the card I just wanted to add a little sentiment from My Creative Time stamps set "Happy Hunting" and decided to use my My Creative time stitched oval die. It fits PERFECTLY in there!
I told you this was super simple! I made this for a very special young lady who has to overcome some incredible odds. I hope this card help lift her spirits!

Simple Notes Cards

Hello I have a real quick project for you all today. Before I go onto my project I would like to say "Thank You" to all the warm wishes since I have returned to blogging! I am truly touched by all of you! I enjoy seeing every one's creations and I am so inspired by all of you! I really missed all your creativity!

Okay for my project today I made simple and easy note cards. I am forever sending in notes to my son's teacher. Yes ~ there is email and texting but she doesn't always have an opportunity to read them, she is there teaching, and get back to everyone as quickly as we may need. There are many times I need to pick my son up early, or to let her know that he didn't sleep last night that well. His teacher is so sweet and LOVES and CARES about our children as if they were her own. So I usually send in a note from the paper from our printer or on an index card. So I thought why not make the note nicer. I used My Creative Time stamps for these! Emma's stamps are so PERFECT for this! I know my son's teacher will love getting these!

Small Talk
Teeny Tag Greetings
Paper Trey Ink paper
Memento and Stampin Up ink

Thank you for stopping by but before you go click here to see what the talented ladies created for Monday Madness...Imagine That! You won't be disappointed!

We have a 6 1/2 year old little boy who is our EVERYTHING! He loves to do crafts too!  I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom/wife who has many roles, duties and paper crafting is something I do for fun! I love to use my Cricut but dies are my favorite thing to work with!

I would also like to say I am honored and excited to work beside these talented and creative "My Creative Time Designers" too!

Onto my card:
So for my card today I have to share my story behind this. Our house is divided by chocolate. My husband loves MILK chocolate but I love WHITE chocolate! So when I made this card I had him in mind! I really do LOVE him more than chocolate!
