MCT 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the My Creative Time 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the very talented and amazing Katie. If you just happen to drop by, you might want to head on over to Emma's blog and start there. I will also have a complete blog hop list posted below.
I just ADORED this whole entire release but then again when don't I adore them. So today I will be featuring set Chalkboard Birthday. I have been wanting a bag forever and poor Emma is probably tired of me asking! Ha! But I am so happy she waited because I have fallen in LOVE with this bag. The bag totally reminds me of those high end shopping stores. It's the PERFECT size that can fit a gift card or any small little treat! Can't wait to use this in the very near future! I used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies for my sentiment on the bag and then used the Card Sentiments die to make my card. I used chalkboard paper but then decided to keep a cleaner look. Now the best part is this card die fits inside the bag. I LOVE this vellum too because you can add any color tissue to give it the effect you are looking for. Of course I added ribbon but decided to add a little flair with the boa. Since it was Emma's birthday this week I thought using the San Francisco Giants colors ~ if you don't know this is her families FAVORITE baseball team but then a sweet friend said it could also be for us Harley Davidson lovers too!
Your next stop should be the amazing and talented Lucia.

MCT 43rd Edition Sneak Peek Day #4

Today is the final day of the May My Creative Time Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team.  I am over the moon with todays new stamp and die set, maybe because I have been waiting for this new die. This set is called Chalkboard Birthday and not only does this set  have the best shopping bag die ever but it comes with 5 big sentiments that can either fit on a the new bag die or can be used for a card! Oh trust me this set is another must have set. The bag can fit a gift card along with little candies, a gift or whatever!
For my project I wanted to keep the colors that I used for my card yesterday. Click here to see the details on that creation.  I totally fell in love with these candles and couldn't resist using them for my bag. So I tried my best to color it to coordinate with my paper. I love the fact that this sentiment/image fits on the die from the Love To Learn stamp/die set. Actually all 5 sentiments from this new set fits on that die ~ Eek ~ since I am a die lover at heart! I did layer the back of that with Kraft colored paper , trying to make sure I didn't leave that color out. Of course I had to add ribbon ~ we again all know how I am about ribbon right? Some fun colored tissue paper and called it a day! Super simple to create and super simple to but this die together too!

Here is my set together...

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the May My Creative Time Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team! If you thought the past 2 days have been amazing today you are just going to ADORE!!!
Today we will featuring the new stamp and die set, You Make Life Sweet. Let me just say this set seriously just way to CUTE and can be used in various ways. This set not only comes with 2 different ice-cream cones, 2 different scoops, darling little faces but fun sentiments! This is another must have set.
For my card today I wanted to use this sentiment and thought why not just use the scoops and 1 of these darling  faces. I love how the sentiment I chose fits in one of the ovals from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies. My thought was the scoops mimic the scallops on from that set. Added some enamel dots, of course ribbon, we all know how my obsession is with ribbon~ right? That is pretty much it but before I go I have something that will go along with this in tomorrow sneak peeks and trust me your are going to want that set too! Just sayin!

MCT 43rd Edition Sneak Peek Day#2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the May My Creative Time Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team. If you thought yesterday was a SWEET day just wait until you see todays sneak peeks! I love May because it's Emma's birthday and she just always has the BEST birthday themed release.
Today we will be featuring the new stamp set Light the Candles. This set is seriously adorable! It is not only packed with the cutest cupcake dies and accessories but the perfect sentiments.
I chose to die cut out the cupcake and stamp so I could color them with Copic markers. Nothing to fancy since I am a beginner. Added some Wink of Stella for a little sparkle even thought its a tad hard to see in my picture.  I wanted to keep this card light as possible with this gingham paper I just ordered with a pop of colors. My sentiment was stamped on the bottom die from the die set, Fun Stitched Tag Dies. The banners are from the set The Sky Is The Limit. Super simple and easy to create.

MCT 43rd Edition Sneak Peek Day#1

Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of the 43rd My Creative Time Sneak Peeks. Emma has one "Sweet" release for all of us this week! It will be jammed packed with tons of amazing new products that you don't want to miss! Trust me!
Today the design team will be featuring two new sets, Sweet Wishes and We're Better Together. Both of these are must have sets and come with stamp and dies.
I will be used the set We're Better Together for my card. I mean coffee and donuts are better together right? This set comes with awesome new coffee cup, a doughnut, sprinkles ( we all need sprinkles on our treat) the cutest hearts ever and fun sentiments. I decided to keep this card on a softer scale but with a hint of fun. I used UTEE ( Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel)  to create my glaze for my doughnut,. All you have to do is use VersaMark, UTEE and your heat gun until you get the desired thickness. Super easy and love the look. I went one too many times and some of my sprinkles moved but I am okay with that. I LOVE how the hearts fit perfectly in the coffee sleeve too.

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ SU
Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark and PTI
UTEE
twine

MCT ~ Made In Minutes

Good morning! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! The weather was beautiful here and I personally couldn't be happier! We had 2 baseball games, my son went to his friends house for a sleep over and a bonfire... to me perfect a weekend!
Today is Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time with Emma and the ladies. This is when we create a project that literally takes minutes to create.
My project was inspired by sweet and creative friend Katie. You can see her project here. I thought what a CUTE and great idea to cut the post off the bird house and hang it from the limb. These dies can be found on the stamp set, Fun Tweet Me Dies. In order to save time I decided to cut out everything in white paper and use Tim Holtz inks. I used this awesome PTI linen paper, it has the such a nice texture to it.  My sentiment is from the Tweet Me stamp set and I certainly couldn't resist using the new Fun Stitched Cloud Dies. My little heart is from the Stitched Message Bubble Dies, I had that in my massive scrap pile.
Just a real simple project that you can create in just minutes.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaFine and Tim Holtz
clear embossing powder

That is it for me today! Make sure you head on over to see what Emma's blog, click here, to see all the amazing creations! Thank you for always being so sweet and kind too!
