This week Emma wanted us to make a Birthday themed project out of the Cricut cartridge "Celebrations". So I decided to do the gift bag. I cuttlebugged the present, colored the present, stitched the bag and wrote "Happy Birthday" on the tag. Then I stuffed some tissue paper in the bag and here you have my gift bag. Sorry, my camera is taking horrible pictures, so you might not be able to make out the tag! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #33
http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ ~ they have a challenge this week in which you have to base a card or layout using the sketch provided. You may alter in it or flip it anyway in which it works for you. They have an amazing design team over there, a must check it out spot! I chose to do a small trip we took with my sister to Long Beach Island in New Jersey. My son was obsessed with the planes flying over our heads ALL day long. "The Plane, The Plane"! My sister will hate that I put her picture in there because it isn't the best side of her...hehehe! Hope you enjoy and go over and check them out over there.

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge ~ "Christmas In July" and The Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog
The Cuttlebug Spot is having a challenge this week about "Christmas In July". We had to emboss some part of our card. I decided to do a door with a Christmas wreath hanging on it. I used Wild Card Cartridge and a scrap piece of shiny black paper ( sort of like film strip) for my door. I used my Cuttlebug distressed stripes folder and I made it look like an old crackled door! Made a wreath, sort of, and put a shiny brad for the door knob. So here is my creation and any suggestions on how to make a wreath are welcomed! Hope you enjoy!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge #7~ "Wild Card" Cartridge
This week at Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge we had to use the "Wild Card" cartridge. We had to pick our "FAVORITE" holiday! Well I love Halloween. So I changed it up a little~ I picked the Autumn card and the pumpkin card, mixed them together. I used shiny black paper that reminds me of film strip, you really can't tell in the picture. I cut my "Happy Halloween", my spider and bat out of glitter paper. Put some embellishments on and here it is! Hope you enjoy!

The Cuttlebug Blog Spot "Sketch"
On the Cuttlebug Spot we had to follow a sketch. The interpretation can be how you see it! Of course mine is very simple! Lol. I made this for my Aunt Ruth Ann, a.k.a "Aunt Fannie", because she invited my son and I to her house to pick fresh strawberries in June! Again sooo far behind on stuff. So I tried my Zing embossing powder on the Thank You but I think I over heated it! 1st time I even tried to use the stuff since I got it in June. Practice makes perfect. It really won't matter to her she will be grateful and surprised to receive a "Thank You" card! Any suggestions or comment welcomed!

"A Color Challenge" MPS~ Pink, Brown, Orange and Green
Here is my take on My Pink Stampers color challenge. We have a great friend who just had a baby girl, 6 months ago~ yes I am a little behind. Her name is Olivia. I put an "O" for her name and embossed it! So I found this glittery paper put it on the brown and just embellished just a little. Hope you like it. Have a safe and festive 4th of July!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge "New Arrival"
This is our little boy's picture that was taken in the hospital when he was a day old. He looks like he is so swollen and ready for a fight! I put mine and his bracelets on here, since I seem to save so many things. I love the pea pod guy and sweet pea from the New Arrival Cartridge. I am looking at this now thinking why didn't I shadow anything??? But I made those with scraps and didn't have extra paper. Anyway hope you enjoy. Thanks Emma, I got another page for him because of you!

Cuttle Bug Spot "Celebrate Independence Day"
I made these for my son's teachers at his preschool for their Thank You gifts. We had sooo many snow days to make up because of all the cancellations, that we literally got out last week! So since it was so close to the 4th of July, I made them red, white and blue! I got clear paint cans from a local craft store, filled them with some yummy Lindt chocolate ( the colors of the chocolate balls where red white and blue, which is hard to see). My wonderful sister-in-law (my scrapping buddy) figured out for me how to make a gift card holder! Thanks Chell! So I embossed them with my wonderful Cuttlebug I got for Mothers Day! Thank You to my wonderful son and husband! I even made sure I picked a gift card that was red! Lol. Hope you enjoy them because the teachers already did!
