The Cuttlebug Spot ~ Tri-Fold Valentine

This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot their challenge is to make a Tri-fold Valentine card.  Well I decided to make a Gatefold card... I think this is what they call it. I have never made a tri-fold card before so I was up for the challenge! I used my Cuttlebug Stylized Flower folder and sanded it a bit. I also decided to use the spellbinders large deck rectangles, layered them, for my sentiment. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I really wanted to make this a simple, clean and straight to the point card for my husband. He travels for his job and I think he will be out of town for Valentines Day. I plan on sneaking this into his brief case, just to reassure him that its okay he isn't here with me! Hope you enjoy!

  4. Beautiful card Kim! I love the black, white, and red combo, I think it is perfect for a hubby or male friend. You did a tri-fold card, the gate fold is also a tri-fold. It has three panels, so your'e ok. Best of luck on the CBS challenge, and thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. Have a lovely week.
