Welcome to another Whimsical Wednesday's. This week both card teams have come together for our challenge to make cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, who is going through a very difficult time right now. This little boy went through brain surgery last week and will begin chemotherapy next week. You can read more about Angelo on this post over at Margie's blog http://bellabugcreations.blogspot.com/2011/06/angelo.html . We hope you will all join us and make a card for Angelo too.
For my card I wanted to make it bright, colorful, cheerful and something all little boys love...trains. I used Create a Critter but decided to flip the train so it is heading in the right direction just like Angelo.
We hope you all will join us for this little boy and his family!

Father's Day Card From Ryan To His Daddy!
Hello I thought I would share my son's card for his Dad. Yesterday we spent ALL day working on this card. When I say ALL day, I mean ALL day! He picked SpongeBob! I thought great this will be very simple. Cut it out, stick it together and we are done... hour tops! Little did I know when he looked at the picture he wanted it to be EXACTLY like it! So he picked the colors and I paper pierced all the details! Thank goodness he thinks it perfect because I just see the smudge marks from his little fingers, how it doesn't line up and many other mishaps. Lol. He really sat beside me for a good portion of it, waiting patiently. He ran the background paper thru the Cuttlebug and sanded it. Thanks Stephanie for Ryan's "NEW" favorite tool! He seriously wants to use it for everything. He even help do the eyelets, picked the little alphabet letter beads( I forgot I had) and put the twine thru the eyelets.. He used the ATG gun and stamped the sentiment. I did the embossing. I surely didn't want to go to the ER explaining 3rd degree burns from a scrapbooking tool! We had a lot of fun doing it together and he is sooo excited to give this to his Dad.
Cartridge ~ SpongeBob
Stamp ~ My Creative Time ~ You're My Best Buddy
Paper ~ Scraps form my scrap TRUNK!

Graduation Card
Hello ~ I thought I would post my graduation cards I made for three graduation parties we have. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take a picture of the other card because we, of course were running late as usual, so no time to take a picture before we left. I used Emma's, My Creative Time, stamps. I have to tell you how much I love them. These cards are very basic, easy and quick to put together. The first graduate just LOVED hers... so I am crossing my fingers that the other two graduates like their card too!

Whimisical Wednesday Challenge ~ Father's Day
Hello and welcome to another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. This week we are featuring Father's Day. It can be your Father or any other wonderful man in your life. I am so fortunate to have such an amazing Dad. He is "My Hero".
I actually used my Imagine for the background paper. I even challenged myself with using the colors I chose... not typically my favorites but tried to make it masculine. I couldn't resist and add just a little bling.. sorry Dad those gems were calling me! When I saw this stamp I had to have it and I knew for months how I was going to use it. It totally defines my Dad. So here was my take on the challenge.
I couldn't resist but to make my card match my milk container from a previous post. I hope you enjoy!
Materials:
Cartridges: Imagine "Best Friends" and C.C. "Stand and Salute"
Stamps: PTI "Star Prints" and "My Hero, My Dad"

Creative Critterz Imaginations Challenge ~ Father's Day Challenge
The Creative Critterz Imagination blog is have a Father's Day challenge. They are challenging us to use our Cricut Imagine to create ANYTHING related to Father's Day. Well mine just sits there collecting dust! I need to start all my Father's Day cards and projects. So this was just perfect for me!
I decided to make my Dad a milk carton filled with his favorite candies. He LOVES these Werther's Originals... and what a perfect little container to squeeze them into. I added a little to much but I don't think he will mind!
