MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day # 3

Good morning and welcome to My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas! Emma and the design team have been VERY busy creating ideas TOTALLY related to Christmas! You will see card, treats, gift ideas, layouts, and home decor inspiration!!! I honestly have been blown away these past few days!!

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT!

Okay, since it's Christmas, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person! She will announce one of the prizes for each day in her video! So by the 12th day, you will see ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving! All you have to do is leave your comments each day! It's that simple! ALSO, **VERY IMPORTANT** Please leave your contact information so we can contact you "IF" YOU are the lucky winner!

So for my project today I decided to make doggie ornaments! We personally don't have a dog and I have NEVER given them gifts! But this past year we have had 4 new little fur babies join other family members! We also have 2 other big dogs~ with in the family that have been with us for some time! They did not get ornaments because my fear is they would totally go after the Christmas tree at their home and oh boy my SIL would NOT be to happy with me! ( Your welcome SIL ~ LOL) So the big dogs get the cute little bag of bones and the newbies and tiny critters get the ornament!

So you just buy some bones ~ modge podge them and let them dry! In the mean time I pulled out some of my My Creative Time dies and just went to town! I know I have said this before but really look at your die(s) and think what else can I use this for! When we received our ornament dies from the stamp set ~ " Warm Holiday Fun" I knew exactly what I could use them for ~ reindeer or dog ears! So I grabbed my PTI felt ( BEST felt ever ~ IMO) and ran the die and felt through my Big Shot! To make the ears sturdy I also did some chip board too! Glued everything together and hot glued them on the back of the bone! I also was able to staple the ribbon on the back of the bone even with out cracking it! Yeah me! I will list the rest of my material used below the pictures.

The bunch together!

  2. I am beyond in love with these ornaments & treat bags!! It's totally inspired me to create new ornaments for our animals (1 dog, 4 cats, a rabbit, snake, & koi fish, plus outside homeless kitties that we take care of. Lol 4 sleep on our porch & the rest come & go probably a total of 10 to 15.) It's given me some great ideas I'll be heading to Michael's today!
