My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas ~ Day #12

Happy Wednesday! Today is the final day of Emma's over at My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas!! Emma and the design team have been trying to help you with ideas on some Christmas gifts, cards, decoration ~ anything related to Christmas! We sure hope we helped! I personally would like to say THANK YOU for leaving me some wonderful comments! I have enjoyed this past 12 days from creating projects to being totally inspired! Okay I promise not to be too long here!

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT!

Okay, since it's Christmas, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person! She will announce one of the prizes for each day in her video! So by the 12th day, you will see ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving! All you have to do is leave your comments each day! It's that simple! ALSO, **VERY IMPORTANT** Please leave your contact information so we can contact you "IF" YOU are the lucky winner!

So for my project today I wanted to share an idea if you have children, grand children, nieces or nephews or even some friends! Hey fur babies too! Well the craze has been Elf on a Shelf and we are fortunate enough to have one in our home! My son named him "Elfie" ~ original right! LOL! He is just wonderful and magical (wink, wink). He stays all day then at night leaves and reports to the big man ~ Santa Claus!!! So I thought what am I really going to do with his letter my son wrote to Santa ~ I have done many different things in the past but this year I wanted to change things up a tad! Well since the mail is HORRIBLE this time of year ( okay lately it had been really) I am one who still writes checks and mails my bills ~ not all of them but some! So I thought why doesn't "Elfie" fly it to Santa one night! Well my son LOVED this idea! I know it is silly but I couldn't help myself!

I pulled out a few of Emma's stamps and dies and just started creating! I will list all the materials below! It is pretty simple and self explanatory but I LOVE how this turned out! I also have to tell you I am NOT used to taking pictures inside and boy was this tough for me!! About 80 pictures later here it is! I also have so many lights I can't tell you on this poor thing! But the funniest thing was after I uploaded them ~ it looked like "Elfie" was at a photo shoot! I just kept hitting the scroll button cracking myself up! Okay that is it for me today! Again Thank You for stopping by!

  16. Great idea for the Santa letter. The elf on the shelf will be a new tradition for our grandchildren next year as my mom got each family the Elf on the Shelf kits. Now if they remember where they put it for next year!! I will suggest it goes with the Thanksgiving decorations!!!
