MCT ~ 3D Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Can I just say we have been non stop since last Thursday! That was my son's last day of school and we have been enjoying his Summer! WOW! If this is how summer is going to be, lets just say, I will be exhausted! But the best part is he is enjoying his summer already!

Since it is Wednesday, we all know what that means, right? It's 3~D Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This is one of my FAVORITE days! I LOVE creating 3D projects!

Today we were asked to create something using Red, White and Blue color scheme! Well I LOVE the country we live in and our colors! I love a vintage look using this color scheme but chose to go more vibrant this time around. Note to self, I will have a better Navy blue ink the next time, I am a little fussy about my blues. My idea today was to create a cheap, easy and fun center piece for your tables if you were having a picnic! The ribbon, bucket, sparklers and fabric were all on clearance last year. Now you are probably thinking were is the fabric?? Most of my MCT die cuts I used are fabric. Just add some fabric stiffener to your fabric and Emma's dies cut out BEAUTIFULLY! I learned this off of Emma ~ thanks for such a wonderful idea. The rest of my materials I used I will list below the picture!

Materials Used:

My Little Firecracker ~ sentiments
Vintage Stitched Label Dies ~ bottom of bucket and tag on top
Scallop & Stitched Circle ~ bottom of bucket
Paper ~ PTI and Bazzill
Ink ~ Archival and Versa Mark
Stampin Up Embossing powder
Fabric
Ribbon and bucket

Now head on over to My Creative Time to see what Emma and the crew has in store for you all! Have a great day and lets hope I get to blog stalking again this week!

  8. Nice job. Your blue ink does match some of the fabric and ribbon...some dark and some royal blue. Great idea to make a centerpiece. I like that stamp set also...a fun set.
