I decided to use colors I normally don't work with but thought the ribbon was a perfect match for these BEE~utiful new stamps and dies! I used the Stitched Honey Comb Dies to create my background by just piecing them together. I LOVE how they fit perfectly together! I love how the beehive has embossed slits and the stitching around the edge. Just wait to you see all the bees!

MCT ~ June Release Sneak Peek Day #4

Good morning and welcome to the last day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time June Release. I keep saying this but I don't know how Emma comes out with the BEST releases month after month! Well today is no different than the rest of the this week. I have to say I am so super excited about today because it is the most ADORABLE sets today! Today Emma and the design team will be showcasing Loyal Friends, Live Love Bark and My Kids Have Paws. I must say that for someone who doesn't have a puppy, at the moment, I fell in love with these sets too! I have many family and friends who do and at some point I know we will be getting one, just when is the question????
For my card I used all three sets. My background is from the paw from the My Kids Have Paws set. All of my sentiments and dog bowl is from the Live Love Bark set. The puppy (there are 3 in this set),the adorable fence the dog house ( which can be used for a bird house ~ wink ~ IMO) the speech bubbles and the bones are from the Loyal Friends. Now I chose to use the tiny circle die from this set to use for my nails for my fence and my puppies bandanna is actually an ear die for another dog. Seriously there are endless ideas for this set! Totally must have!!!

I took two pictures one for the MCT Facebook guessing game. I laughed because my puppies eyes and nose look sad but yet the nose was perfect because puppies noses are always wet! LOL! Plus besides my card base, my card was created with scrap pieces! YAY me!

MCT ~ June Release Sneak Peek Day #3

Well it's Day #3 of the My Creative Time June Sneak Peeks and if you haven't been blown away by now just wait until today! Emma and the design team will be showcasing the most BEE~utiful stamps and dies today! The Bee Happy, the Stitched Honey Comb Dies and the Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies! OMG ~ I am in LOVE with these too! There are 4 different bee stamps and 4 bee dies and the cutest sentiments EVER!!! Then the honey comb die ~ EEK! I cant forget the beehive either! See there are so many AMAZING products I am so overwhelmed with excitement! LOL!!!
So for my project I wanted to show you can use these Honey Comb Dies to make a card! I LOVE this idea! The best part too is it will fit in the Scalloped Stitched Envelope Die! Now I must warn you, I placed my bees PERFECTLY so that I could do it! Just don't vertical, go horizontal! LOL!

Look a skinny bee (that to me: is the female bee) and a chubby bee (of course that is the male bee) and ADORABLE little faces!!! My little hexagons are scrap pieces from the Honey Comb Die.

For my wings I used the surf board stamp from the Surfs Up stamp set!

MCT ~ June Release Sneak Peek Day #2

Welcome to the My Creative Time June Release Sneak Peek Day #2. I told you this release is AWESOME and AMAZING!!!! Emma totally AMAZES me every single release! My goal again is to keep my posts short so you don't miss one thing!
Alright for today's projects Emma and the design team will be showcasing the stamp sets Surfs Up and Sit Back &Relax. You all saw the Sit Back & Relax stamp set with flip flop dies on Friday! Wasn't that the CUTEST stamp set? Well the Surfs Up is too and comes 5 dies. Well this set is going to come in handy for my family this year, we are going on a beach vacation it has the BEST sentiments and dies for the occasion!!! WHOO HOO!! So I thought I would do a PL card to start our trip off. I have wanted a beach themed set forever and what PERFECT timing!!! I wanted to do more but I am still planning our trip and all the fun things we will be doing so I thought just doing one was a good start. Plus I wanted to use soft subtle colors and real sand.

MCT ~ June Release Sneak Peek Day #1

Welcome to the My Creative Time June Release Sneak Peek Day #1. This week will be jammed packed with Emma's new products! I have to say I just think this release is AWESOME and AMAZING!!!! My goal again is to keep my posts short so you don't miss one thing!
Lets get started! Today Emma and the design team will be sneaking "Happy Thoughts" and "You are Fabulous" stamp sets. I used both of these stamp sets for my card today. I needed to make Ryan's coach a "Thank You" card and wanted to use his team colors. I LOVE how big the sentiments are in the You are Fabulous and all the fun images coordinate with existing dies, like the stars I have on my card. My "Thanks" die cut is from the Happy Thoughts.

I have to say I just ADORE these little flip flops! They were so fun and easy to put together! I wanted to keep my card extremely CAS. My circles are from scraps I had in my stash. I didn't have the paper to match my ink, so I just inked the circle and viola! I pop dotted the circle and used tissue paper to make my flowers! I LOVE that Emma incorporated the Stitched Button Dies to go with this stamp set. Your going to flip and flop over this stamp set!

MCT ~ Inspiration Wednesday

Happy hump day! Today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma and the design team make a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.
Today my inspiration subject is about a sweet high school friend and her last day of chemotherapy. Her positive attitude, her strength and her courage is truly beyond words.

For my project I decided to make a bulls eye using the Fun Bunch of Circle Dies. I thought they were PERFECTLY lined for a bulls eye! I LOVE how they have stitching and some pierced holes! I wanted the date to be center focus so I used the Vintage Stitched Label Die two times, scored the white one and just layered the pink one for some dimension. Then I pulled out Chocolate Greeting stamp and die set. I cut the little banner die 3 times. Again added some dimension the date and thought I could use the third one for an arrow. Just a simple card for a sweet friend. The rest of my materials I will list below.

MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Hello everyone! I know I have been a tad mia lately but with the school year ending, baseball, craft room renovation and our school picnic, this girl is one busy & tired mom!

So today over at My Creative Time, Emma and the design team are trying our best to use our scraps. I have tons of scrap pieces of paper in various shapes and sizes. I seem to keep everything! If I don't like how I stamped a background, I save that piece for a later use. I even save the tiniest piece of paper because they are PERFECT for Emma's dies! Well today I put a itty bitty teeny weeny dent in mine. Besides the card base everything was from scrap and I TOTALLY forgot to take pictures!

Well I just ADORE the new Live, Love, Laugh & Be Happy stamp set and the Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly Dies. I LOVE the butterflies and the coordinating stamps for them. I think the sentiments are so perfect for so many occasions. Plus we know how much I LOVE Emma's dies! Just a real simple and quick card!

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday ~ Summer Theme

Good morning! Today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. Today we will be sharing tags with you with a Summer theme!

I decided to do two tags today! for my first tag, the first thing that came to mind was bicycles, sun, blue skies and green grass. I remember riding my bike for hours a day and had to be in the house when the street lights came on. Boy things have changed a bit since I was young. I decided to use the new background stamp, Build A Scripty & Watercolor Background. My creative design team sister, Katie, gave me this idea and I loved it. Click here to see her post. MCT ~ Scrapping The Little Things

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a beautiful weekend! I know we did! I finally got my floor in my craft room put down! I am over the moon, even though I am far away from it being done. It's been a slow process but us DYI people here it's a tad hard between work and our baseball schedule. But eventually it will get done, right?

It's Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time. With that said this is when Emma and the design team are get caught up on our scrap books. I chose to do a very simple layout! I wanted to use some things from the newest release. You can click here to see the entire release and purchase it.

I chose this random picture of my son. We were watching a movie one night and I just happened to look over and someone, besides me, fell asleep during it! So I grabbed my phone and snapped a picture. I actually took 2 pictures and developed the wrong one, oh well.

I LOVE these dragonfly dies from Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly Dies. I thought I would add them to add a little whimsy to my page. Miss Emma also came out with the Speech Bubble Sentiments. This set has coordinating dies and sentiments. I just LOVE this set too! I die cut the "you are" multiple times and glue them together, to add some dimension. The sentiments were a perfect way to tell my son how I feel about him. I could have used almost all of the sentiments from this set to describe my feelings towards him. I also used a ribbon punch that I found while packing and moving my craft room. I don't think I have ever used this before EVER! LOL!
