MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Today is Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This is when we use up our scraps, left overs or use a recycled item. Well as I have said before I have a ton so scraps and I try my hardest to look there first before I pull out on full sheet of paper.
So with all that said I found these adorable milk cartons at Michael's on clearance! You get 9 per package and for $2.09. Bargain! You not only get the cartons but a wrap, a sticker and they already has adhesive to assemble. Well I decided I wasn't going to use the sticker because I have all these AMAZING stamps and dies from My Creative Time. So I pulled out my Bunch of Fun Circles Dies and the stamp set, Trick or Treat. I thought these would super simple and fast to reproduce. Best part I was able to create 39 little containers using scraps! Yes ~ I have that many scrap pieces of paper that I was able to do them all! Sad right? Anyway, for all of my son's teachers , past and present, I used the Stitched Fun Ticket Dies and Just Tag to personalize theirs. For the kids, we can't do that ~ so it went pretty fast! Oh my little clothespins are also Recollections and on clearance and those were only .59 or .89 cents for 8. Best part is they coordinate with the milk cartons! So not only did I use scraps but I thought I was pretty thrifty money wise, plus tons of time saved! Just stuffed these with loads of candy and done!

MCT ~ Inspriational Wednesday

Happy hump day! Today is Inspirational Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is the day we get to share with you a project we were inspired by! Well my project was inspired by my sweet friend Ruthie, from September Ninth, during the September release. Ruthie not only shared her card but a detailed video on how she created her card. Click HERE for all the details. It is a flip card and was made out My Creative Time dies! I LOVED it so much that I had to give this a try! Make sure you give her some love for this awesome idea!!!!
I decided to use the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies because I wanted to use the Uppercase Fun Dies for the persons initials. I made this card for a little girl who needed a little lift and her name is Emmy! I hope she likes the soft subtle colors and the butterflies. I made a project a few weeks back, click here, and I used the same paper. LOVE this paper with these MCT products!

MCT ~ Stamp or Die of The Month

MCT ~ 37th Editon Release Blog Hop

Guess what, it worked! So I made a little scene from indoors looking out at the Fall trees. I even added a little baseboard at the bottom. MCT ~ October Sneak Peeks Day #4

Welcome to the final day of the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! Wasn't this week of sneaks AMAZING?? Are you all amazed with Emma's vision for her products and the design teams creations?? I just love this craft and am always just blown away by someone every single day! WOW!
Anyway today the design team will be featuring 2 new set, Oh Deer and Christmas Doggy! Both of these sets are beyond ADORABLE and FABULOUS!
Well I have fallen in love with this doggy! I mean who wouldn't right? It comes with 3 sentiments and this adorable Christmas hat. I did the best I could at coloring this little guy... hence keeping him white! LOL! My music notes behind him are from the stamp set Oh Deer. A little hint here, the dog die from Loyal Friends fits over the doggy stamp. That is how I stamped the music notes behind the dog.

MCT ~ October Sneak Peek Day #3

Hello and welcome to Day #3 of the October Sneak Peeks over at My Creative Time! Like always, I am in awe of how Emma comes up with these AMAZING releases! Let alone how the design team makes such incredible creations!
Today we are sneaking the Winter Cheer stamp set. Well let me just say, I adore this stamp set. Again tons of sentiments, images and oh my dies! Since I am die lover at heart, Emma captures my heart every time!
I wanted to create a very simple card. I thought these skates were ADORABLE! They come with a die that you can use for the laces but I wanted to share with you that hemp can work too! I wanted to use soft subtle colors with a hint of shine as well and silver was my friend this time around! Plus since I have felt I thought why not use that too. I did use a scrap piece of cardboard to make the skates more sturdy and for some dimension as well.

MCT ~ October Sneak Peek Day #2

It's day #2 of the My Creative Time October Sneak Peeks with Emma and the design team. Today we will be featuring the stamp set Boughs of Holly. Now this set is simply BEAUTIFUL and perfect for the up coming Christmas season. I love the images, sentiments and the dies!! Seriously a gorgeous and must have set!
I couldn't resist making a Christmas card. We all know how fast things fly after Halloween! I love red, green and brown color combination. So since I have my new craft room done, I am able to see what paper pads I have and never used. I seriously don't have a ton but lets say I am not buying anything new until I at least use up what I have.
I used the pine needles from this stamp set for my background paper and added some Wink of Stella to them. You can't see in my picture but in person it added the perfect touch. Since this set has holly dies and I wanted to use both of them. Now I am not saying this is the way you are supposed to use them but I thought it gave them a little dimension. The embossing on the holly leaves is simple awesome too! Now with all that said...

MCT ~ October Sneak Peek Day #1

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today is Day #1 of the My Creative Time October Sneak Peeks. For my card today, I used the Seasonal Greetings stamp set. This set has amazing sentiments (love the different fonts in this set) and 16 different dies. I need to get some Christmas cards started and thought these trees were so PERFECT for a simple little scene! I LOVE that the sentiment form this stamp set fits on the medium Trio Stitched Banner Dies. Plus like I said before love the font for this sentiment too! MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Happy Thursday! Today over at My Creative Time, Emma and the design team, its Thrifty Thursday! This is when we designers use scraps, leftovers, recyclables for our projects today.
We all have a TON of scraps, well at least I do! I LOVE to use my scraps as often as I can. I seriously save the smallest pieces, sometimes it is rather ridiculous but I hate to throw out paper! My scraps for this project are from a future that you will see in a few weeks. Any way I made this tag using Just Tags dies. I love this die because it layers and is the perfect size! MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Good morning and happy hump day! Gosh this week is flying by so fast! Today Emma and the design team over at My Creative Time are sharing treats with you all! Now it can be any type of treat or container.
I bought the jar at Target and just stuck treats in it for the men in my house. I am not a chocolate person. It was rather boring and thought it would be fun & festive to create a treat jar for Halloween! Since the last release was packed with fun dies for Halloween. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More to frame out my little scene. I can't seem to stop using these dies, I LOVE them. I also want to be able to change the jar for different holidays so I thought vinyl! I don't have any myself so I called the one person who I know who has tons, my SIL, Michelle! She has a vinyl business and gave me a ton of scraps. Since I have never worked with vinyl before I didn't know if my MCT dies would cut thru it...holy crap it does and I LOVE it!!! Might be my new obsession and she has tons of colors too! Thanks Chell!

MCT ~ Designer Challenge

Good morning! Today starts another Designers Challenge over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This time around we have been asked to draw some inspiration from this fun photo and the sketch provided. You can check out all the details for this challenge by clicking here.
For this challenge I decided to do a layout. I figured I would be ready for all my Halloween pictures that I plan on taking this year. Last year it was rainy and windy, not too many pictures taken. Boo! Anyhow, I thought the sketch was awesome for a layout. I used 5 different MCT stamps or die sets for this layout. I will list them all below but I have to say, the new release was PERFECT timing and a total must have! The Stitched Rectangular Dies & More are seriously addicting! LOVE those dies!

I thought what the perfect time to create with Stitched Restroom Peeps, the new release and this photo inspiration! The sentiment from the stamp set Trick or Treat has the BEST sentiment and I had to use it. I plan on giving this to my husband... my LOVE will haunt him forever! LOL!!!
I have a ton of Martha Stewart microbeads and thought I would make a shaker like tag using all the colors from the picture. I know Emma is LOVING this picture because it's the FAVORITE baseball team!

MCT ~ Trending Now Thursday

Good morning! I hope you all are having a fabulous week so far! Almost the weekend! WHOO HOO!
Today starts a new segment over at My Creative Time that Emma and the design team will be featuring! It's called "Trending Now Thursday"! Sounds fun right! Well this time around we are featuring the color "GOLD"! We have all seen a ton of products out there, home furnishings, clothes, purses and yes ~ paper crafts, all with the color gold! Who doesn't LOVE gold??
I have had this gold Recollections paper for some time now. It comes in clear packaging and is so nice and thick. I just adore the word die, LOVE, from the stamp set Family is Everything. The word alone makes a huge statement. So I didn't want to add to much to my card except of course ribbon! I can't seem to ever make something without it! LOL! Besides these addictions, my next is the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More. OMG ~ if you haven't order them, you need to! They are so addicting! I thought between the gold and the word this card should be made with clear acetate. It just a perfect look for gold!
