I have to say this release was so fun to create with and can't wait to share more projects with these amazing new products!
For my project today I totally went with the a movie themed night! I purchased a movie gift card and knew I had to use the Embossed Gift Cardholder Die. Of course the new sets Date Night and Popcorn Background add the perfect details to my project! Now I have to let you one a little secret, I am one who will not pay for candy at the movies! I think they are ridiculously priced, so I take my own treats in! Yep ~ I do that. I will also take these little popcorn containers I found at Target for $1. I purchase the biggest popcorn I can and then divide it up, so not everyone's hands are in the big bucket! I am slightly a germophobe, plus we don't have to pass the bucket back and forth! Any way, one of my talented design team sisters, Brigit, showed us that we can use the Stitched Belly Band Dies around the gift card holder! Brilliant and fun idea right?? My sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments stamp set. Best part is, I will save these fun little projects, the tickets and pictures (prior to the movie starting) to put in my son's scrap book!
The whole project, note the ribbon was a scrap piece and I will keep recycling this for family projects...

Very cute idea, and I never thought of taking some holders for popcorn after you buy the big POPCORN! for everyone.LOl We are forever passing the bucket! hahaha Not only a very nice treat card but also give a light to those of us who keep passing the bucket and don' t have a light on upstairs.. ReplyDeleteFabulous project! I like your idea to bring small containers to divy up popcorn. Great idea to remember to take pictures and use the card on a page. I also save all ribbons and use them over and over for gifts...boxes too. Many are older than the kids, haha! Wonderful ideas on this project.
