MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time it's What a Treat Wednesday with Emma and the design team. We can make any treat we want, so I had to use some of the products from the August release and mix them with some older MCT products.

My project today is for the men in my life, its all about gum! Yep, they are huge gum chewers! So when I saw these Halloween colored gum at Joann's I had to pick them up! What I love about them is they fit perfectly in the Bubblegum Treat Box  die. Since I knew I wanted to create a window for these, I used the smallest square from the Stitched Squares Inside & Out  die set. It fits perfectly in the treat box. My little tag is from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies and decorate them just a little by using the Too Cute to Spook stamp set. Adore the little sentiment and the spider, its a friendly spider by the way!

Today I am featuring the Stitched Squares Inside & Out and the "Freebie" this month Fangtastic Day.  I seriously can't tell you all enough how both of these sets, along with all the other sets this week are must haves. This release was over the top fun to work with, not like they all aren't fun.  Anyway , for my card today I wanted to use Halloween colors but yet not actually make it a Halloween card! I figured this card can be used either for the up coming holiday or for my sweet husband. See he has been working extremely hard and long hours, so I thought I could slip this cutie card in his lunch box. Anyway I had to use the post and sign form the new stamp set Too Cute to Spook because its just to cute and oh don't get me started on the "x" die in this set. Just adds the perfect detail, don't you think. simple and quick card to create!

MCT 46th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day #4

Today I am back for Day 3 of the 46th Edition of the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks. Emma and the design team are featuring the new stamp/die set Fall Friends. Well like I have been telling you this a must have release. But today ~ oh goodness this set is packed with the cutest little critters ever!! Let alone the sentiments and dies too.

 For today's card I couldn't help but use the little beaver in this set. He just made me smile and I can see him popping yelling this sentiment too! The little leaves that I used also have a coordinating  die, but I thought I would just stamp it right on my square from the new  Stitched Squares Inside and Out. I seriously am addicted to these squares!

Welcome to Day 2 of the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks for the August release. Now if you thought yesterday was amazing wait until you see what Emma and the design team have in store for you all today! Seriously this whole release is a must have. Emma just came out with the CUTEST stamp/die sets this month!

Today Emma and the design team will be featuring the new set Too Cute to Spook. Oh my this set is seriously adorable! Fun sentiments, cute dies and endless possibilities! I wanted to show you all that this set can be used for other sweet occasions beside Halloween. Now I can't wait to use this set for Halloween but that is what is awesome about Emma stamps, they are so versatile!  I couldn't help but use this sweet little mummy, the fun post/sign and of course these sentiments! Of course I had to use the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out, I love them so much you will see me use them all week! Yep, I love them that much! Good morning! Welcome to the My Creative Time 46th Edition Release with Emma and the design team! I know we all can't wait to share this release and our projects this week. It truly is a release you don't want to miss and a must have!

I am so excited for to have these AMAZING new Stitched Squares Inside & Out! Omgosh they are simply awesome to work with and I am so excited Emma did these! I can see these being my go to dies! There are a total of 9 dies and endless possibilities! I love how they have stitching on the outside and how you can frame anything! We are also showcasing the new "freebie" set today too! This set is called, Fangtastic Day. Oh goodness this little vampire is so adorable and he comes with a die to boot!

So for my project I thought the sentiment from the freebie was perfect for my son's first day back to school. I wanted to show you all how this freebie could be used in a totally different way. Trying to keep my post super short this week because I don't want you to miss a single project!

MCT ~ Trending Now

Good morning! Today is Trending Now over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Today we are doing an "emboss it" segment! You can emboss many ways but today I chose to dry and heat emboss. On both of my cards I used the Circle Stitching Pattern Dies for my background ( dry emboss part). I just adore this die because it adds a little detail to any project. I then heat embossed the flowers and sentiment by using the Hey There Little Lady stamp set. Now that stamp set has tons of sentiments and images. Again both cards I chose to use the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die but leaving one plain and the other my attempt at water colors... I need to practice this technique! Adding some sequins and of course ribbon ~ you all know me and my ribbon obsession! 

Super simple and fast cards to just say Thanks, a small gesture of gratitude can go along way!

MCT ~ Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today Emma over at My Creative Time and the design team are all about catching up with our scrapbooks ~ Its Scrapping the Little Things! Yep, this is when we try our hardest to capture those special memories.

For my project today, I snapped these photos of my father-in-law and mom on a way to a baseball tournament( these were taken on 2 separate days). Now my mom is a veteran of Starbucks but my FIL, not so much! It was actually his first trip there! So I had to takes some pictures.

I couldn't help use the We're Better Together coffee cup! I mean is seriously so perfect and I just adore the little hearts in this set. My sentiment is from the set, All You Need Is Coffee! I used the Stitched 4 x 6 Journal Die for my actual card. It fits perfectly in the PL sleeves. The word "family" and my coffee splatters are from the  set, Family is Everything. I know someone used the splatters from this set for the coffee stains but I honestly cant remember. I would LOVE to give them the credit but whomever did this ~ thanks for the idea! The ampersand is from the Social Media Dies.

MCT ~ Stamp of the Month

Good morning! Since it's the beginning of the August, it's that time again for another Favorite Stamp of the Month with Emma and the My Creative Time design team. This time around its the beautiful Springtime in Paris. This set is seriously GORGEOUS!!! The fonts, the sentiments, the images, some words in French and oh my the beautiful Eiffel Tower die.

I thought I would keep my card super simple. I used some Tim Holtz inks, added a little water, some sequins for my background. I wanted to have the Eiffel Tower stand out along with the word "Merci". I heat embossed the tower and the sentiment. I did use kid foam to give the tower a little dimension. Just s super simple Thank You for someone special!
