Good morning! Today is Trending Now over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Today we are doing an "emboss it" segment! You can emboss many ways but today I chose to dry and heat emboss. On both of my cards I used the Circle Stitching Pattern Dies for my background ( dry emboss part). I just adore this die because it adds a little detail to any project. I then heat embossed the flowers and sentiment by using the Hey There Little Lady stamp set. Now that stamp set has tons of sentiments and images. Again both cards I chose to use the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die but leaving one plain and the other my attempt at water colors... I need to practice this technique! Adding some sequins and of course ribbon ~ you all know me and my ribbon obsession!
Super simple and fast cards to just say Thanks, a small gesture of gratitude can go along way!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaMark
white embossing powder
sequins
water color
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you head on over to Emma's blog to see what all those talented ladies have created!

ReplyDeleteLove the colors, your water coloring and your ribbons. You did two outstanding creative jobs!! YOU so ROCK!!
I love both cards but I really love the water colored one. I am always on the look out for relatively simple cards. TFS
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Kim! I love the colors, layout, ribbon... everything about them!
ReplyDeleteLove that stitched ribbon and the Stitched Circles...kind of plays off the ribbons. I like how the white embossing looks for your flowers and sentiments. Beautiful job.
