Good morning! Today is What Inspires Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team.
My card was inspired by this wonderful woman, Dena over at The Creativity Cave. She created these gorgeous backgrounds and shares a wonderful how-to video. I know it doesn't totally look like Dena's, unfortunately I didn't have the glue she used for the glitter spritzing but next time I attempt one of her backgrounds I will have it for sure! Thanks Dena for sharing your inspiration with us!
I die cut my rectangle out suing the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More Dies in white paper. Then I used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and masked off for my moon. Then I just started inking away. The bats, sentiment and Halloween die is from the Wicked Fun Dies set. Now my background didn't turn out as smooth looking as Dena's but I still like how mine turned out. I think mine looks a little stormy??? I am guessing with more practice I may get better at backgrounds. After over 5 years of crafting, I am always inspired by all of you! This is such a fun craft and so inspired to try new techniques!
Materials Used:
