MCT ~ Trending Now

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team we have a segment called, Trending Now. Well we all have heard of the adult coloring books, they are the rage, they are trending. Well since we don't have actual books we thought we would color some images.
For my project today I thought I would use the MCT Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month, Prehistoric Holidays, I will have all information listed below since its on sale right now this whole month. This set comes with a ton of images you can color. I wanted to show you to think outside the box a little when looking at your stamp sets too. I have seen many different cards in card stores and on the internet/blogs using a palm tree and a winter sentiments. I thought it was so clever!
Since I wanted this card clean and simple, so after coloring my image, I die cut my burlap out using the Stitched Squares Inside & Out.  I had to use my go to dies, Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More for a little detail. The Winter Cheer has this sweet sentiment that I thought was perfect for my card. Can I just say I am over winter and we didn't have a ton of cold weather or snow this year... just sayin, so a palm tree is perfect for my mood right now.
Super clean and simple card...

  9. Great texture and I am so over winter also. Ours was on the mild side until this last week. Crazy weather...lots of snow and then back to warmer weather. Wonder what summer will be like? I hope not colder than usual.
