MCT 12 Days OF Christmas Day #7

Good morning and welcome to My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas. Well Emma and the MCT design team have been really busy trying to come up with some AWESOME ideas for cards, gift ideas, treat ideas and even layouts! I hope you all have been enjoying seeing all this creativity! I know I have and my head is still spinning from all the AMAZING ideas!

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT!

Okay, since it's Christmas, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person! She will announce one of the prizes for each day in her video! So by the 12th day, you will see ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving! All you have to do is leave your comments each day! It's that simple! ALSO, **VERY IMPORTANT** Please leave your contact information so we can contact you "IF" YOU are the lucky winner!

So for today's project I decided to do a home decor project. I got this glass block at Michael's for 50% off ~ so about $6. Then I found these ADORABLE silver jingle bells at Joann's for $3.99. I used 1 1/2 containers of these ( they came in containers). The red and green jingle bells are from Target YEARS ago! I bought them in their gift wrapping section after Christmas! My Mom, sister and I bought stuff for like 70% off! The ribbon is from Micheal's with a 50% of coupon ~ so around $3.00. I laid the block on the side I wanted to show, place my jingle bells and then stuffed white lights behind them ~ Easy right??? The lights I have had for years and never used! About 20 lights or so! Of course these were on sale too at Target ~ I will say I paid around $5 for them! So around $20 dollars you can have this for your house or give as a gift to someone! After placing the bow around the block it sort of looked like a present! I of course couldn't resist using the CUTE little jingle bell ornament die and the new stitched label die! I will list and link ALL my MCT products below. Well that is it for me today ~ I hope you enjoy this fun and rather quick idea!! Have a WONDERFUL weekend!

NOTE: I am trying my hardest to get a picture that looks decent enough to show you how it looks with the light on! PLEASE check back later!! Thank You Margie for reminding me! Hugs to you!!

Okay her is the BEST picture I could get of it lit up ~ so hard to capture it ~ sorry for the horrible pictures! Note ~ you may want to add more lights too if you want it really bright! That may happen here but it is so hard to get any more lights in it! PLUS ~ I would not keep this on too long ~ or CHECK it! The stopper thing at the bottom is rubber. So see if it gets hot after being on for awhile! I am doing that as we speak! Okay have a WONDERFUL weekend eveyone!

  50. Now that is really clever and cute!!! I feel your frustration, I can NEVER get a decent pic of something lighted, drives me crazy 'cause it looks so good in person and I can't get it to look that good on the picture. Maybe I should take a photography class, hehe!!!!

    Cool project!!!!
