MCT ~3~D Wednesday

Happy hump day! We all know what that means, it's 3~D Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This is when we can make anything BUT a card.

Today's project is something, again simple and quick. Long story but my family has been through a great deal these past few months. I won't get into all the details but needless to say my father in law is in a physical rehab facility. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight and we need to get his weight back up. So my son and I were going to visit him one day. Ryan wanted to take in a treat for him. Well I couldn't just send in a plain chocolate bar. Of course I had to make it masculine looking, there are not my typical colors I normally would use. So I die cut the "Stitched 4x6 Journal Die" two times. I cut the one in half so I could layer it to make it fit the whole bar. I sure hope that makes sense to you! LOL! Then I looked at some of my other My Creative Time stamps and dies and found the PERFECT sentiments for my tag! I did stamp on part of my ribbon as well. I wanted this to brighten his day, encourage him to continue his hard work and know how important he is to all of us!

  1. Your treat turned out spectacular. I do love your colors and paper you used it definitely has the masculine look. You did a great job on your bow and tag. Very clever how you used the journal tag to make the wrap. How clever are you. Love the sentiment you chose it's so heartwarming and loving. Hope your father-in-law is doing well and will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
