MCT ~ Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning and Happy Veterans Day! To ALL the service men and women out there ~ a HUGE Thank you to you and your families for all the sacrifices that you all made and continue to make for all of us in this country!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we try to get caught up on our layouts, smashing or PL what ever form of scrapbooking. I LOVE this day because this seems to be the only time I ever do a page. So thank you Emma for having us do this ~ I know I say it all the time but I truly mean it.

Today I decided to scrap my son's 8th birthday. He has opted not to have a party with his friends and would rather do a family dinner. Not every one is always able to make it but we wish everyone can someday. In our house you get to pick anywhere you want to eat then come back home for cake! He chose this awesome Italian restaurant about 40 minutes away but so worth the trip! SO here are some photos that were taken at the restaurant and some at home! I used tons of My Creative Time products, which are so PERFECT for scrapbooking ~ any form. You may notice that there is something on my page familiar, it was a treat container I made for him awhile back, Click here to see all the details. I have decided to start using some of the tags, cards or whatever I have made him and throw them in his scrapbook! I have been wanting to do this for some time and  I finally did it! I think its a perfect way to preserve some cherished things.

Sorry for the bad picture but the sun is on vacation here! UGH!

  8. I seriously LOVE this! You win the prize for the most MCT supplies used today. Everything looks perfect together. I had wanted to use Scalloped Stitched Rosette Die as a border on a card or LO too but hadn't tried it yet. I LOVE how it turned out and now I can't wait to use it that way. BEAUTIFUL, perfect page! 13. Hello there Kim! What a fantastic page! Great birthday party colors and photos. Dig that banner and I like how you used the scalloped rosette die as a flat strip. I'll have to remember that for future projects. So many cool ideas on here. I am in love with the What a View! die :)
