MCT ~ 5 Day of Christmas ~ Day 5

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home décor, 3-D items & what ever else come to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!
Well today is our last and final day of the 5 days of Christmas! I had a blast not only making my projects but seeing everyone elses! So many wonderful ideas that I can use for this holiday and many other holidays too.

So for my project today you CAN make this very cheaply too... I DID NOT! LOL! I needed a paint brush, went out into the garage and pulled down this big plastic bin on the shelf. Sifted thru it and found this awesome wooden handle brush. So I trek back into the house. I thought I had red paint to paint my handle ~ nope. So I wait until the hubs comes home and ask him if he has any. He brings me enamel paint in but hey its red. So I pain the first coat, fumes making me a tad dizzy and the hubs comes in. He looks at the paint brush and says "That's my Purdy paint brush!". Well the look on his face was priceless! It did come in a nice wrapper sort of thing but what do I know about  paint brushes ~ nothing apparently. Needless to say you can buy an inexpensive brush, paint the handle red! I then had my wonderful sister in law give me some awesome white vinyl. So I wanted to make my handle have polka dots. So I pulled out the "Stitched Button Dies" and used the small one. I then used the "Build A Banner Kit" for nose. I told you all, you would see this nose again! LOVE it! Glittered it up. The for my Santa trim, I had a sweet friend RAK'd me some AWESOME fabric. Thank You Cathryn! I knew I wanted some vinyl eyebrows for my Santa and thought the trim piece from the hat from the "Here's Lookin' At You" set would be perfect! The rest of the materials I will list below!

Materials Used:

Paper ~ PTI
Vinyl
Ribbon ~ PTI
MS glitter
fabric ~ RAK
Enamel paint
jingle bells

And a VERY expensive brush! You so don't need that!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!
