MCT ~ February Sneak Peek Day #2

Welcome to Day #2 of the My Creative Time February Sneak Peeks! Today Emma and the design team will be sharing projects with you made with the new You Had Me at Meow! This set is simply DARLING!! Not only do you get the CUTEST little sentiments but wait until you see all the cute little die accessories that comes with this set!
I wanted to keep this card fairly simple. I thought soft colors with a slight pop of bright pink for her bow would be fun. So I colored my cute little kitten, trying to leave her a patch around her eye and leaving her tip of her tail and paws white.  Remember I said this set comes with some cute accessories, look at her little bow and heart collar. Isn't that sentiment just purr~fect too! I think this little kitten stamp is just adorable.Of course I will list all the details below.

MCT ~ Trending Now

It's Trending Now over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. Today we will be using BOLD Stripes, Dots and/ or Chevron. Now I am not sure if I did this challenge correctly??? I make a template out of paper using the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.  I then used my inks to do my background. I am still playing around with my inking and boy you all make it look easy! I thought I would use the "Hi" die from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More with some children's foam. I LOVE how it gives dimension without die cutting out a ton for the same effect. I went through my ginormous scrap stash and found this circle to adhere my "hi" onto. Super simple and basic card.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Tim Holtz
sequins
children's foam

MCT ~ Inspiration Wednesday

Hello! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team we will be sharing a project that inspired us! Easy right?? Well not for me because I see so many wonderful creations, colors, patterns and just so many other things that inspires me in some way or another. So a few months back I found this amazing card made by Laura Bassen. Click here to watch the video. So after watching this video I started watching a few more of her videos. Laura is not only super talented but seriously funny! In one video, click here, she shared her craft space. She showed me that you don't need to have a room packed to the hilt, even though it is seriously nice to have, to create beautiful things. Even though I did love her space!! I hope you all watch it, she is real, she is a mom, she is a wife and super funny and talented! Oh Laura's blog, click here.
So I am just venturing into the inking world, so please be patient with me. I have seen so many of you create the most GORGEOUS backgrounds ever! So I thought I want to try to mix some things up this year... mine is not nearly as AMAZING as Laura's or any of yours but boy was it fun to create!
I will list all the details below my picture as usual!
Materials Used:
Ink ~ Tim Holtz and VersaMark
white embossing powder
sequins
children's foam at M's

Head on over to My Creative Time to see all the amazing creations and get ready for next week too!

MCT ~ Tag it Tuesday

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was pretty low key, which is fine by me! Most of our snow melted but I guess colder temperatures are on they way ~ please Spring show us you are just around the corner...pretty please!
So toady Emma and the My Creative Time design team will be featuring some tags. I thought I would tackle two tasks at once. With Valentines day just around the corner, I would make these for my son's Valentine's Day classmates and teachers. Instead of doing two separate things, a card and a treat, I would make these tags to serve both purposes. I used the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies for my tags. I used my new BFF, MISTI, to stamp my cherubs and sentiment! If you haven't heard of the MISTI, click here. This is the BEST money I have EVER spent on a crafting tool EVER! I wasted not one single piece of paper! Super simple, easy and fast to mass produce! I will list all the other supplies used under the picture.

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Stampin Up, VersaMark and VersaFine
clear embossing powder
ribbon from M's

Starting next week Emma will have her 40th Edition Release! Trust me, you don't want to miss this release ~ it's packed with so many wonderful new products!

Thanks for always being so sweet and kind. Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what all the other designers have created today!

MCT ~ What a Treat Wednesday

Today is What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the ladies!
For today's project I thought I would pull out one of my favorite dies, the Stitched Lollipop Holder. Did you know the Original Gourmet lollipop fits PERFECTLY in this die? I know many of  the My Creative Time designers have used them but wanted to make you knew this too! The best part these lollipops aren't just delicious but with Emma's products you can dress them up for any occasion or holiday. With Valentines' Day just around the corner, I thought this would be a fun treat to give to a certain special someone.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark
clear embossing powder
vinyl
twine
glossy accents
Copic markers
Signo pen

Make sure you don't miss out on any of the My Creative Time design teams projects! I am sure they have some amazing ideas!

Made In Minutes

Good morning! Today its Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time , with Emma and the design team. This is when we make a simple and quick project that takes no more than 20 minutes. Easy right!
Well I found this little mailbox at Target in the dollar bin section. I thought it was cute and threw it in my cart. I mean for a dollar I am sure I could do something to jazz it up right?? While searching through all the My Creative Time products I own, I found this CUTE little sentiment, "Love mail...",  in the stamp set Puffy Hearts Just For You. I knew right there and then I would use the Embossed Envelope die with the hopes I could stuff the opening of my little mailbox with! Viola, two envelopes worked PERFECTLY! Added 2 hearts die cut from Anchors & Heart Dies and consider this little treat done! Simply right??
So simple to slide the ribbon back and add a little treat inside. Dang I should have bought more candy, there was a lot more room inside that mailbox!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI and MME
Ribbon ~ Stampin Up
Ink ~ VersaFine and VersaMark
clear embossing powder
