So for my card today my son is invited to a bowling birthday party in just a few hours! So I thought why no make a bowling card for the birthday boy. Simple, quick and easy right! Well as many as you know I RARELY use my Gypsy! Let me just say it would TOTALLY be quick for ALL of you but this took me some time! Eventually I decided to just cut the 2 middle pins out separately!! I could not get it them to weld right! Oh well practice makes perfect! I used the "In Stitches Face Assortment" stamp set! I thought it would be perfect because the pins look like they were having fun until the one realized it was going to be hit by that heavy bowling ball! It actually is cracking me up as I right! Poor pins constantly getting hit by bowling balls! LOL! I used my XL Label Die from My Creative Time for the background. For my popping I ended up adding an Action Wobble! Those things give anything wonderful dimension and it wobbles too!
I am slightly bummed you can't see the dimension! I tried taking pictures from the side but the sun is so bright here today and making them all blurry! But trust me ~ there is dimension!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great bowling card. My son had a bowling party once and it was super fun. The kids all got to sign a pin and the birthday boy got to keep it. He still has it in his closet 10 years later.
