Good morning! I am super excited that Georgiana and Anita have asked me to guest design over at Die Cuttin' Divas. Super sweet and talented bunch of ladies (Divas).
The challenge is
Umbrella Month. Just make sure you include an umbrella somewhere on
your project. Super simple right!
your project. Super simple right!
For my project I wanted to make a gate fold card but wanted to be able to close it up so the recipient could open it like a present. So I put some slits on the back and threaded the ribbon through the back. I did leave my ribbon a tad longer than I normally would, only because if the recipient wants to tie it back up they had enough ribbon to do it. We all know it can be hard to tie bows. Okay for me it is at least! LOL! I had to use the Stitched Umbrella Die from My Creative Time. It so cute and the perfect size for cards. I also heat embossed my sentiment and image with white embossing powder on vellum. I will list the rest of my materials below.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, MME and vellum
Ribbon ~ PTI
MME enamel dots
white embossing powder
I would like to thank these wonderful ladies ( Divas ) for having me as a guest designer! It was an honor, so Thank You!
Love it Kim...so pretty!!!

Oh, thanks for your sweet comment on FB post of our Anniversary! You are too funny!! We were on 18 and 19 when we got married, yikes! I don't think I would have wanted my kids to get married that young, lol! Although, it is a whole different kind of generation now as to how it was when I was a kid! If I had to do it over, I wouldn't change a thing :) Life is good!
Have a super day...:)

Beautiful card. I really like the vellum and how the embossing looks on it. I like the way the enamel dots kind of carry on a wet feeling for the card. Fabulous job!
