Hello crafty friends! It feels so good to be back after a little crafty vacation! I LOVE to craft but it was so great to spend quality time with my amazing family! I love and adore them!
Well with that said, today Emma and the design team are working on our scrapbooks! I know I say this all the time but I don't do enough pages. Hopefully this year, once I get a new photo printer, I can concentrate more time on it. It is so important to document our time here on earth...maybe I should set a goal for myself...hmmmm!
So I thought for todays page I would start with a page celebrating 2015! I figure if I have this page done I would be more motivated to continue documenting the rest of the year! I will let you know how this goes...wish me luck!
I wanted to try and use just a few colors for this page ~ soft but with some shine. So Kraft, vellum, silver, gold, news print ( life is always packed with stories right??) and then a pop of red. I used circles to represent the ball dropping and how life is constantly going. I sure hope that last one made sense???
I will list all products used under each individual card...
Materials Used
Paper ~ PTI, SU, Vellum, Recollections & The Paper Company
sequins
Now for this card I printed Auld Lange Syne on vellum paper and my mock Time's Square ball is filled with the word die "celebrate" from Tag Die Layers and the little confetti dies from the 4x4 Journal Die + More.
Materials Used:
Stitched Journal Die
Paper ~ PTI, SU, Recollections, vellum and acetate
For this card I wanted to share what I want to accomplish for the new year... exercise, taking more pictures, eat healthier, enjoy coffee with friends or maybe drink less coffee?? Also talk to people more... not text as much.. hear someone's voice!!! Technology is great but hearing someone's voice is more special to me. But last but not least...LOVE my family even more!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, SU, Recollections, vellum
Ink ~ VersaMark
embossing powder

ReplyDeleteSo much thought and planning went into your project...love it. Clever to have celebrate in your shaker/ball. Great idea with the things to work on...love the little icons for each thing and on the hex dies too. Beautiful and great job using the MCT products to make it all come together! Awesome job.
