MCT ~ Whatever Wednesday

Good morning! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team it's Whatever Wednesday! This is when we get to make whatever our little hearts desire!

For my card today I wanted to keep my card rather crisp but with a punch of color. I just couldn't resist using this adorable little whale from Get Whale Soon stamp set! Isn't he CUUUTE??? I used the Tag Die Layers with some fun paper and added some ribbon,of course! The sentiment was stamped on Ribbon End Banners. Then I pulled one of my favorite die sets, Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More. I find I leave this die set on my work area because its a go too set for me!

MCT ~ 70th Edition Release Blog Hop

 

Good morning! Welcome to the 70th Edition Release Blog Hop over at My Creative Time with Emma and the deign team.

Today I am featuring the sets, Stitched Bat Die and Bat Sentiments! Like I said yesterday, these sets are ADORABLE!!!

For my project today I thought I would just take a plain brown gift bag and give it a little lift! I have a ton of scraps so pulled out this SU paper and adhered it to the bag. I die cut the bat out in black and a stone/gray paper and layered his wings. Then I thought why not give his little  face some dimension too! I used  and oval shape from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies, stamped his little face on the oval, gave him some cheeks, used chalk for his ears and did a little doodling. My sentiment is from the Bat Sentiment set, which I stamped on the banner from the Build A Fall Wreath set. What a cute sentiment right?

Let me say this bag was almost impossible for me to photograph, after abut 100 pics this was the best one... sigh

MCT ~ 70th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day 4

Today is the last day of the 70th Edition Sneak peeks over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. I know I have been in awe over here with everyone's creativity all week! How about you?

Today has gone to the bats! We are featuring a new die, Stitched Bat Die, and a stamp set called, Bat Sentiments. Oh my word are these two sets ADORABLE!!!

I simply use the bat die to make a tag that I attached to a paper towel roll and some left over fabric I had forever. I did stamp the "to" and "from" on the back of the bat but forgot to get a photo of it...smh. I stamped a sentiment from the Bat Sentiments on some tags from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies. Did a little doodling and called this gray bat done!

Another super fun way to give that special someone some treats for Halloween!

MCT ~ 70th Edition Release Sneak Peek Day 3

Today is Day 3 of the 70th Edition Release over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! Ok yesterdays projects just blew me away! I mean Eek ~ weren't they "spooktacular"?

For today's project, I took a break from Halloween and made something for my favorite season EVER...Fall! I just LOVE fall! The colors, the coolness in the air...just everything about this time of year makes me happy!

So with all that said, today's stamp and die set is, Build A Fall Wreath. I simply used the More Stitched Circles and traces a line around the circle, then started stamping. My suggestion is to stamp the stems first then stamp the coordinating leaf stamp. I found this to be super easy! The banner and sentiment is also from this set. The base of my card was made by using the Stitched Squares Inside & Out die set, another must have set!

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the 69th Edition Sneak Peeks over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! I hoped you liked yesterday's projects the design team made! I know I sure did!

Today we are featuring the new set, Spooky & Creepy Night! I have to say I LOVE this set! The sentiments and dies are so fun to work with! I have been into monochromatic lately ~ not sure why but I am! I used the web from this set, attached it at the bottom for a border. Then I  heat embossed a sentiment from this set onto one of the dies from the Stitched Zig Zag Dies. The edges on this die reminded me of a jack-o-lantern! I know, call me crazy!  The round web and spider are from the Wicked Fun Dies. Then my fun little frame is from the Stitched "Capture" Frame with Arrow Die. I still adore that die!

A very different looking Halloween card but I actually like it for some odd reason???

Today we are featuring a new die, Large Scalloped Stitched Rosette Die. I love the size of this rosette!

I thought I would make a Halloween themed treat using the Stitched Treat Sleeve Die. The Scalloped Stitched Circles are wonderful to use to hold the rosette together and to embellish your rosette! My sentiment and the "spooky" is from the Wicked Fun Dies, another awesome Halloween set!

MCT ~ Thoughtful Thursday

Happy Thursday! Today over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team, it's Thoughtful Thursday! This is when we designers make a thinking of you, a thank you or sympathy card or project!

For my project today I made this card totally of scraps except the image. Confession time, during regular projects and release week, I am that crafter who rarely has a plan and just die cuts stuff out! I then throw them in a tub and forget about them! So I thought let me dig thru this tub and see what I can do here! Even my ribbon were stragglers from some project!

My sentiment and image is from the stamp set Healing Wishes, a sweet little set to have. I heat embossed the sentiment on a velum doily from Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies, this set has 4 total doilies. My scallop base is from Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies. I usually do a ton of layering on my projects but I thought lets just use what I have already on hand and get rid of some scraps! This was truly a hard task for me! Super simple card!

MCT ~ Tag It Tuesday

Good morning! Welcome to Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. Today its all about "tags".

I actually made a bookmark but I will say you could ad this to a book and use it as a tag. Sort of a double purpose project, a tag and bookmark...right?? I have a little reader in my house, even though with summer happening, there really hasn't been much reading! LOL

The tag and stack of books came from the stamp/die set, So Many Books. My owl is from Grad Night, I have to say my coloring of this cutie looks like a raccoon...LOL!! But I wanted to keep the colors more masculine and monotone, so he was colored with gray tones. I added an eyelet and some ribbon and called it done!

MCT ~ Weird Holiday

Hello crafty friends! Today over at My Creative Time, Emma and the design team are doing projects for "Weird Holidays!" I searched the August calendar, which you can click here to see what weird holidays they have going on and to see what I wanted to do. How about today, August 1st just happens to be "Girlfriend's Day"!

Emma has a ton of stamps, dies and sentiments that can totally work for this day. It was a hard decision to pick what products I wanted to you! I decided to pull out and use some of Emma's older products for my project.

I knew I wanted to use the new Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies because of the scallops. I think they scream girlfriend/lady like. 

The Classy Girl & Furbaby dies has always been one of my favorite little sets. My sentiment is from the Make A Splash set, which I heat embossed. Then added the Bestie die, this is another cute little die.
