MCT ~ Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know we did even though it was rather busy at times and a ton of running around, it was just so nice. This week doesn't seem to be any calmer either! You would think it being winter it would be relaxing... it hasn't been the past few weeks. Lets hope after this week, son's project turned in, broken pipe gets fixed, cars undercoated and the list seriously goes on, we calm down a tad.
Any way today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. We are really trying to catch up ~ LOL ~ on our scrapbooks. We can do any style/form we choose. I am still mixing traditional with PL.
Today I thought I would share just a few days the past 2 months of the delays and cancellations our school district has had. I sure hope I didn't miss any, we don't have anymore and I jinx us! Sigh! Our children have already lost their Spring break, for some reason we had none or maybe one snow day built in this school year. HELLO ~ we live in western PA!!! Hopefully next year we have some snow days built into the year???
I think Emma's stamps and dies are just PERFECT for layouts. You can either add a little or a lot, whatever fits your style.
I of course will list all my products below but I thought how PERFECT is that sentiment for my title. It is from the Snow Buddies stamp set.  My little tally card was fun to create along with my snow. I saw someone actually sewed theirs together, sorry I can't remember who came up with this cute idea. I just cut around one of my PL sheets, added some shaved ice and sealed it up with score tape. Covered up the score tape with some ribbon ~ done! No cursing at a needle, thread or machine! LOL! . Someday I will have a new tool to create my pockets... that day can't come soon enough! Then of course our awesome little helper who LOVES to play in the snow, shovel and use the snow blower! Love that little man! I am still on the search for a better picture printer...suggestions and reviews welcome!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & DCWV
Ribbon ~ May Arts
PTI ~ button
Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark and SU
white embossing powder
TH ~ distress stickle
Stampendous shaved ice
MME enamel dot
twine
Styrofoam balls from broken Christmas ornament

Make sure you head on over to Emma's blog to see what the ladies have in store for you all! I am sure you will be totally inspired to get those books done!

Have a great day!

  1. OMG Girl OMG.....read your story WOW definitely a lot going on and too bad about the Break being cancelled. bummer!!
Love your pics and love how you scrapped them!! Super creative ways you used Miss Emma's goodies. Ok you asked for suggestions about photo printers. Well I print literally hundreds and hundreds of pics each year as I'm a die hard scrapper and what I have for photo printers are HP printers I swear by them 10000% I've never owned any other brand to show how much I love them I have a 12 x 12 HP Printer. even have printed pics 12 x 12 and used for the paper for a LO....I have a regular HP photo printer and two WIFI photo printers one in my hubby's office downstairs and one upstairs in the spare be bedroom and use with my laptop and the two WIFI printers also use with my Explore for the print & Cut feature but all 4 of them print professional quality pics....I've also worn out over the years a few HP Printers I use them lots and literally wore them out this is total proof how much I print pics I print them 4 x 6, 3-1/2 x 5-1/2, Wallet size, & Film Strip size so I swear by HP Photo Printers.......so hopefully this helps.....and you can usually get a great deal on one at Target.....I know our last two WIFI printers the numbers are 5520 & 5530 one was under $100 and the other was about $120 .

    Good Luck YOU so ROCK!!
