My Creative Time ~ Throwback Thursday

Emma over at My Creative Time is having her Throwback Thursday but something extra special this time! This week she has asked us to use the Cartridge Doodlecharms! Well, again one of my favorites! You MUST include something BLUE on your creation. Well let me tell you how I came up with my card. My son is graduating from Pre-school this Friday! I am so excited but sad ~ where has the time gone! Anyway the other day I was sitting in my craft space playing along with Emma's stamp set My Little Firecracker. Along comes Ryan, always curious, and said he LOVED the stars and colors! He immediately asked if I was making him a card for graduating. I honestly never thought about it... I immediately said YES! Smart Mom, quick on her toes. Then he brought up that when we would go shopping or just be out we would count all the flags along the way and how much he LOVED to do that. I forgot about that and then Emma posted a day later about the challenge! I know it is not a traditional graduation card but for me it fits PERFECTLY for him! I have to say I LOVE how this turned out and just shows how Emma's stamps can be so versatile too! I decided to do an easel card. My very first one! I decide to use the star background  stamp for the top and use the little stars to use for accents. You can easily alternate the stars with two inks to give it a different  look! See how versitile these stamps can be for your project. You can make your own paper! Thanks Emma for such awesome stamps!

So I hope you enjoy and go check out this week over at My Creative Time for all the details... you ONLY have 1 week to complete your creation.
