Happy Friday! Kim here, from Scrapin Mom Of One Inspiring Little Boy. Today is my last day as guest designer at Obsessed With Scrapbooking. I want to thank you all for making this such a fun week for me! I have enjoyed reading all of your sweet comments. A HUGE Thank You to Joy for graciously inviting me this whole week ~ huge hugs to you!
Okay there are a ton of things going on today, so I promise not to keep you all long! I have shared cards this week that revolve around events that are coming up in my life, using My Creative Time's new release. This last card is for someone extremely precious to me ~ my Mom! She has been through a great deal the past few years. She always has her chin up and forges forward! She is such a "SWEET" and giving person. I don't tell her enough how much I love her!
I bought the cartridge, Spring Cottage, specifically for the window cut and never even opened the box! Sad, right?? So since I like my cards with dimension, I cut it out 2 times, so I could pop dot it and add acetate for the glass look! I don't think you can even see this in my picture. This cut has a flower box, leaves(??), and flowers (which I did not cut out). I cut the leaves out 2 times because I wanted a fuller look. Then I decide my flower box need to be scored, just to add a little detail! I inked everything up! My little flowers are from scraps from the "Stitched Button Dies" that I had laying around. The sentiment "Sweet" is from the new stamp set "Life is Good". My "mommy" sentiment is from an oldie, but goody, "Mom You Rock" . I did emboss the background with a new folder I bought awhile ago. Of course my little signs are from dies, and I will list them below! The BEAUTIFUL button and hemp are from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. I hope my mom likes her card.
